Arrival Story:
My husband's sister found this cat as a stray in a wooded area near their apartment. He was just a little kitten at the time and was scared to death. She named him Spot, because of his dog-like behavior. My husband had recently moved to the area and was staying with his sister (and the cat, who seldom came out). While sleeping on the couch one night, he came to my husband and slept next to his head. He had chosen my husband as his buddy and the two haven't been apart since. When my husband and I got married, he brought Spot into the family, which already included 3 Persian kitties. It took a few weeks, but they accepted Spot into the family, although Persians tend to be aloof of outsiders. Spot didn't understand why the Persians wouldn't play with him at first, but he came to understand their behavior. Now that we have our Obi in the family (our Nebelung), they get along great, because they have similar personalities. The two are inseparable, even though there is a large age difference. They even decided to share their human companions, especially their daddy.
