Arrival Story:
My Mom and Dad were looking for a tuxedo kitty and went to the vet's office and asked if they knew of any momma kitties that had any tuxedo kitties. They said "no, but they would keep a lookout for them!" Well, I was born and 7 weeks later, the vet called my Mom and told her where I was. She and Poppa came to see me ... even at 7 weeks old I had "charm," so they immediately scooped me up and have taken good care of me since then. I had a "buddy" when I got home, but Spunki had to go to Rainbow Bridge in 2004, so I was all by myself, until they found "the Tamster," by accident and now I have a new buddy! We keep each other in line and chase and play, when the "spirit" moves us! Tam is hearing impaired, so I try to watch out for him as I know Mom worries about him! But, between you and me, I would like to box him over the ears somedays. And, I do ... but I don't think Mom sees it ... or I hope she doesn't! Although I am sure she does, because she gets this "stern" voice and shakes her finger at me ... I just blink innocently and she ends up giving me kitty kisses! Ahhh... such is the life, huh? >^..^

New house for US .....

Well, Mom has been trying to find time to let everyone know we have a new house. They picked it out "just for us" ... truly, that is true. We heard Mom tell the Realtor that she HAD to have a room in the new house for us. Fortunately, he is an animal person and knew how important we are to the family! We have a "time out" room, which is REALLY fun. Tall cabinets to jump up on and a window to look out to see the birds ... so we really don't mind "time out!" >^!!^< We have more room to run in and LOTS of "hiding places" to drive Mom crazy. It is one of our daily pastimes. Since the new home is larger, there is more echoing, so when a storm is coming (which is rare for our region of the country) we can feel it coming and you just see a streak of black and white and grey and white taking off for the bed. Don't know why we think the bed is going to "protect us," but it seems like a logical place to "hide" until the storms pass. Plus it drives Mom "nuts!" That is fun enough!
We moved to our new house in January and we walked right out of our pet taxis right to "exploring" ... no slithering for Tam and myself. We are brave kitties ... but not spoiled as most will say! NOT in the least! Kitty giggles!
Purrs to all from,
Rebel

Thank you Catster!!!

We are so excited that we are chasing one another through the house, aka "creating chaos!" But we LOVE to "bug" Mom. How nice and extremely kind of Catster to give us a "quirky turkey" ... we keep trying catch him, but he keeps moving on us. I looked at Mom and asked "why," ... she just said "for your amusement!" No help at all is she? >^!!^<
But we do thank Catster for the Quirky Turkey and we want to congratulate all of you beautiful cats and dogs that are in the final competition for "the Best!" We have voted and are excited to see who will be the winners this year. Good luck to all of you.
Many thanks to Catster for having such a FUN time and thank you most of all to Catster for the "Quirky Turkey!"
Kitty purrs,
Rebel ... and, yes, Tam, as well!

Well, we had some "excitement!"

On Sunday, a neighbor kitty thought she should be a member of our family. Poor kitty, her "mom" had gone away for a few days and didn't leave her with any food, so she met our "Mom and Dad" at the door and was "yowling" at the top of her poor little lungs. Mom and Dad petted her and said "loving things" to her, BUT she was NOT impressed with that only. Mom and Dad came in the house and the neighbor kitty sat at our door yowling. You Siamese kitties know how to vocalize yourselves to get your way ... wish I had that kind of "meow," ... Sigh! But! I digress! Anyway "Baby" ... we THINK that is her name, sat at our front door letting it be known that she was NOT going anywhere. Finally Mom grabbed a can of our "high-priced food" and gave it to Dad (Tam and I just sat there looking at one another thinking "Hey!") Anyway, Dad took the can of food ... thankfully it was NOT a flavor we wanted at that particular moment and went next door and fed Baby in her own yard. Poor, poor kitty. Anyway, "Baby" was satisfied and several hours later, after being "left home alone" Baby's family came back, so we guess she got even more food! Tam hid under the dining table, as he can't hear all that well, but when he heard Baby's cry, it scared him. After the yowling stopped, he FINALLY came out from under the table. I went from window to window in search of "Baby!" Sigh! We NEVER have that kind of excitement too often, so it was a "fun" experience for me. Tam, however was NOT amused!
At least Baby was fed ... and we did our "neighborly duty!"
