I hope everycat had a wonderful Christmas. I had lots of fun, and got many great presents and treats. I even got a new stroller! I will post a photo of me in the stroller.

I have been feeling pretty good lately, and I really love to go out in my stroller.

Good Grief

I think my Mommie has too much time on her hands. Today she made a video of me eating a bananie. I love bananies. Sorry about all the lip-smacking noises I made - they just taste soooo good, it's hard to remain ladylike.

Thanks everycat

I love Catster! I have lots of new friends, and some nice people left me some treats. My Mom gives me a real treat whenever I get a virtual treat. I am a little bit embarrassed because my Mom told everyone about how I use the litter box perched on the edge. I got a new Santa hat, so I will have some new photos soon.

I had a couple of coughing episodes today, but other than that, I am feeling pretty good. I crawled inside my sleeping bag today without any help; I must be pretty smart.

Anyway, thanks again to all my new Catster friends.

Wow, I have a diary!

I am so excited to have my own diary! I want to share my story about my bum heart so I can maybe help other sick cats. I was last seen by my cardiologist on 8/22/06. My report says that my diagnosis is "Hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. Extremely severe left atrial enlargement. Episodes of suspect complex partial seizure. History of syncope, sinus arrest with ventricular escape rhythm."

The report also says that I am at high risk for onset of congestive heart failure or blood clot formation! I don't know what all that means, but I do know that my heart feels funny, so I like to sleep a lot, and I can't run and jump as much as I used to. I have to take lots of pills every day (enalapril, dilacor, plavix, spironalactone), but they make me feel better. The spironalactone tastes bad, and one time it got stuck in my mouth, and foam came out! I ran around and pretended I had rabies and drool went everywhere. After that day, my mom put the pills inside some cheese so I couldn't taste the bad pill.

Sometimes my legs feel funny, so I like to shake them to get the circulation going again. I have had this disease for over six years now! In addition to my regular doctor, I get to see a doctor who specializes in cardiology.
