Arrival Story:
We were looking for a sliver Maine Coone and had visited a lady to see the kittens she had. However, Astra was about 13 weeks old at the time. She was destined to be a show cat, however the breeder said she would not have time to train her due to the fact that she had a new litter of kittens, so we got this beautiful show cat for a pet kitty price. I really liked the fact that the breeder cared about all of her pets and really cared who adopted this kitten. We signed a contract stating we would never breed or declaw her. And if we ever could not take care of her, the breeder said she would bring her back home.

Bio:
Astra, which is "star" in Latin, is a bit high strung like a Thoroughbred, but she really is a lover and likes people. She is very friendly. We call her The Supermodel because she likes to look at herself in the mirror and doesn't keep her food down all of the time (if you know what I mean). One of the funniest things she does is if she is cold she will climb into the pillowcase. I have two pillows and she somehow gets into the bottom one and then turns around so she faces out.
