First off: A big shout out and happy birthday to my little Lily. She's 1 yr. old today....and the same to Toby cuz he will be 15 yrs old tomorrow. Very cool. :)

Yeah yeah yeah I know that I've really been slacking off the writing. Somewhere along the line I grew up. I thought that I'd be a carefree kitten forever....but....I don't know how to describe or explain it....things just change.

Don't get me wrong here folks...I am still doing more than my fair share of running,playing,getting into stuff,acting all cute to get away with things,and just generally being a nuisance.....but I've found myself noticing things and thinking. Ya know...really finding the deeper meaning in different things. The pure joy of welcoming new life into the family...the sights,sounds,smells etc. of changing seasons outside as I relax and bask in a window...the quiet sadness that has been around us again as we mourn the loss of another beloved human family member and knowing that, as I silently survey my furry family, that the days are becoming very short for a couple of them due to age and cancer.

I don't know about a great many things I guess,but I DO know that I have my heart and all four paws very tightly embracing everyone and everything in my life. I cherish all and nothing will ever be taken for granted.
