Well, it's official - the vet diagnosed me with diabetes. Mom was actually paying attention to how much I eat and drink and use my litter box (sometimes humans really do pay attention to what's going on - who knew!) I wasn't feeling too good and was soooo thirsty all the time and of course what goes in must come out. Mom gives me insulin shots with my breakfast and dinner everyday. I don't mind since I don't feel anything when she does. I don't have to eat that boring dry kibble anymore either. Mom and Arielle went to the store and read the labels on every can of wet food to make sure there was no plant matter in the food, since that is what made me sick. Someone forgot to tell mom that cats can't digest wheat gluten, corn meal, rice or soy protein, so she had no idea. I love having nice tasty meals served everyday. Grandpa even shares his sardines with me now. Life can sure be good when you have sugar-betes.

Sheesh.....Trevor.....

You won't believe what that boy has been up to lately. He actually has the nerve to wear his Halloween mask and scare me away from my nice cozy sleeping spots and think it funny. And besides that, he was tormenting me and would not leave me alone. The terror of it all. The worst was when he locked himself in mom's daughter's room while I was sleeping very peacefully in my bed. Luckly Arielle got her brother out and kept me safe while mom delt with him. Thank you mom and Arielle!

It's been a couple of weeks since mom bought the new kibble home. It tastes ok, but it's not my favorite. I've been feeling better since she gave me the new food. The weather has been nice, so mom has been letting me stay and play outside for as long as I want. I love you mom!
