The dogs' new door...

A few weeks ago, mama accidentally left our patio door open over night. When she got up, everyone was in except me. Well, the dogs spotted me in the driveway and I hid. A few hours later, I was sitting on the front porch waiting to come back in. Mama and daddy bought a dog door after that for the patio, and they wanted to see what happened if they sat with us out in the front yard. Well, we each went separately and we LOVE it. Now we can all be outside together, we stay within eyesight and come in when the humans go in. Diego and I used to be outdoor cats and Turtle has always liked to go out with mama- but we still think she's really a dog anyways :)
We are staying safe inside for most of the day, but we are also having fun getting to sniff around our yard a bit!

Tag game

Okay, I am rotten at doing this the real way, but I wanted to mention some of my family's favorite cats!
Neferkitty- the cat who tagged me- a super smart and sweet girl who has a way with making our catster pages look pawsome! She made the tennis ball script for my dog brother!
Ducky and Gizzie- my handsome fiancee and his wonderful sister. Ducky is a fun, funny and wise cat and I love him more each day!
Orca the Killer Kitten- a fellow Washingtonian and a super friendly and helpful guy. He was so supportive when my brother Toddcat went missing!
Oly and Ambro- my sister Turtle's wanna be pawrents! They are both beautiful, kind and loving cats!
Sparkman- a fun, funny and very literate kitten playmate of my sister.
Onyx- she slays bugs, mauls feet and is a wonderful furend!

Our dogs have been hogging the computer lately, but we are so glad to know so many pawsome cats!!

What a party!!!

We had our birthday party for Ducky, Gizzie and me yesterday and it was SOOO fun!
I've never had a party in my almost four years and so many old and new friends were there- yummy food and drinks and a catnip mousie pinata!
After that fun, Orca asked Gizzie to marry him and of course she said yes...then the big surprise for me..Ducky asked if I would marry him!!
OF COURSE I said yes to my wonderful handsome boy! I know we've only been dating a couple of months, but sometimes you just find "the one" and it's purrrfect right from the start!
I am the happiest girlcat on earth now...maybe in a few days I'll float down from the cloud I'm on, but for now it just sounds so nice to say "Mrs. Ducky"...

My birthday

This weekend will be my first birthday with my new family.
The people who took me to the shelter didn't know my birthday,so mama just guessed the day I will turn 4.
I got some yummy treats and a purr mat from my Ducky,and Turtle immediately took over the treats....but I still got lots!
And Ducky, Gizzie and I will all be celebrating our birthdays together this weekend.
Can life get any better??

I'm jinglin' when I'm walkin'

I got my first mail today, from my handsome Ducky!
He sent me an early birthday gift- a beautiful blue flowered collar with a special tag on it...and a bell.
Now,I've really been enjoying my stealth Mojo status, but this bell is kinda cool. The only dog who cares where I am is deaf anyways.
We'll see how I do tonight when the humans are asleep! hee hee
I am the luckiest girl ever- I will post a picture when mama remembers to take my photo.

Wow!

First mama took some pictures of me with a silly blue bandana..
I have been hanging around upstairs with the dogs a lot. Turtle is right- if you don't ACT afraid, they really don't bother you. Diego is still too scared- ha ha ha!! So the dogs were right there for my photo shoot. I think they know I'm the most gorgeous member of the family, so they let me do lots of nice poses. Now I'm entered in a contest called babes in blue.
Then I found out I'm the BWAB COTW! What an honor!! I love the kitties in that group...I will do my best to attack mama and daddy's ankles, but Turtle tells me it's much more fun to try to get under the covers and attack! I just don't want a big stupid dog to crush me...
We'll see what happens. I'm still puzzled about my rosette from the FFF, so I think I'll go sit in the window and think for a while.

I am a needy girl!

As you may know, I came from the shelter with no former cat, dog or kid experience, but my new family loved me anyways! I love the kids, Turtle is okay, Diego, well.... and I've gotten very curious about the dogs.
I have decided that if Turtle can go upstairs and do some "other species mingling", I can too! But I'm a bit wider than Turtle and can't totally JUMP the baby gate. Still, I have gotten upstairs and I'm so embarrassed that mama saw how I did it today. I jump and cling to the top of the gate then claw my back legs up and over...not pretty, but it gets the job done. And the dogs really don't even seem to notice me! I really AM Stealth Mojo-hee hee!
It's so nice to be able to be with my family when I want instead of waiting for THEM! Maybe soon I'll sneak onto the bed like Turtle does...

My Valentine!

I can't believe it- Ducky asked me to be his valentine at the BWAB social! My family has known Ducky for quite a while, but I never knew I could someday be his valentine! He is one of the nicest catsters I know!!
I will be sauntering around in a daze for quite a while...
I always knew I was a princess, but I sure feel like the queen now!
