The Rules

1. I would prefer to drink water out of the flower garden dish than my bowl.

7. I kept trying to nurse my mommy even when I was big, til she started swatting at me and my sister! Being a baby is fun!

Hunting In The Yard

You'd never believe what i did on Wednesday! I caught a baby bird! Well it was not real little, but it was not one of those squawky mean adults! it was sorta medium sized. I was minding my own business in the back yard playing with it, tossing it in the air, chewing on its wings, etc. ... when I heard mommy screaming through the window. So next thing I know she comes running through the yard with that stupid dog Ginger (or maybe she is a tall cat, I'm not sure). Mommy took my toy away and held it. Apparently it was still alive and breathing. Pretty sure I broke its neck, wings and beak though. Mommy put it in a tree later and I was bored by that time anyway. There are other fun things to play with.. like last night i found a really fun bumble bee on the front sidewalk. This morning i found a cicada. Talk about weird looking! but it was fun cause when i'd swat at it, it would go "bbbbzzzbzzzbzzz". Mommy said "Oh Sunny!" and then let me keep playing. Springtime is so great! I was just a young kitten this time last year and didn't get to have this kind of fun!

Cat of the Day! April 17!

Wow! i can't believe I was picked for Cat of the Day! I am barely over a year old and already a celebrity! i bet my sisters and brothers are jealous!! They are probably already jealous that i get special treatment. For some reason, i guess cause I'm so cute and fluffy and little bowlegs and tail-less rump make mommy smile and treat me special! Actually she loves us all but I am really affectionate and love to wake her up with my purrs, so I try to be a good boy. I have been outside alot lately. Now that I'm fixed, I don't run as far. I do stay busy defending my yard against the boy cats that come around looking for food. The cat that I think is my daddy came Saturday but I told him, this is my yard now, I'm the big cat around this place! ha ha! And the pretty black and white fluffy cat comes alot but my dog-sister Ginger barks and so I get in on the fun. Mostly I'd rather just roll around on the sidewalk and sit in the grass stalking bugs and my mommy! Thank you to everyone who looked at my page today and has become my friend. Being a special cat is my reason for waking up and purring every day!!!!
