As many of you have heard there has been some awful storms recently, many producing devastating tornadoes like the one in Joplin MO. For most of this year we haven't gotten much of these storms, but I think mother nature may be making up for lost time! My family has gotten several storms recently and today was really scary! When my furless got home she was greeted with blarring sirens, heavy rain & intense news coverage giving out tornado warnings all around KS/MO. Many of which surround were my family lives & our area was under a warning for a while. A few did touch down, but luckily it just missed PV! My peeps (and all 4 pets) did take coverage in the basement for a little bit until getting the all clear. It was extra scary because the youngest was still in school at the time, and she is not a fan of storms at all so hopefully she didn't get to upset.
My peep's work also had a close call, at about the same time. Mom & dad were home for lunch but Christy, Dennis (feral friend) & a few other employees were there but they all huddled in the basement for a bit until it cleared up. Christy did say that as soon as the sirens went off that Dennis was super spooked & took off. He ended up hiding in an old favorite spot of his, behind a file cabinet. They weren't able to get him out & didn't want to freak him out even more so they did leave him there but if the warning was any worse they would have made sure he was down with them. But the peeps have decided that they are going to buy a carrier for him to keep at work, incase something like this happens again.
Speaking of Dennis, he is doing great! Such a fun & friendly boy, well unless it's Monday. He hates Mondays! Every Monday morning when Christy gets there first he will go up to her to say hello & get some attention like he does every morning but instead of headbonking he will bite her! He does the same with mom as well and it is only on Monday mornings. He must be grumpy that he is left alone for most of the weekend, & is trying to get some payback. Sometimes dad will go in on Saturday for a little but he is always by himself on Sundays (he does have food/water dishes that refill automatically though).
Stay safe everyone!

So once again it has been way to long since I last posted a new diary entry! The furless always plans on getting on and posting something new but something always comes up! Her time has been even more limited now, because recently she got a job at a local animal clinic every Friday night after she gets home from getting her edumacation & every other weekend. And her time is going to be even more limited with finals coming up! So I just wanted to do a quick update before things get even more chaotic.
First off I would like to thank all of my wonderful friends for helping me celebrate my 19th birthday on April 1st! I want to send a special few thank you shout outs to:
Big Harry & Family for a sweet heart rosette!
Simone & gang for my pretty tulip rosette!
My cute little norwegians for my lovely rainbow rosette!
Angel Alexander & family for my pretty tulip rosette!
Alex,Annie & Bugsy! for my lovely rainbow rosette!
As well as my darling birthday twin Milo for my beautiful flower special gift and all of my wonderful pals who sent me special b-day messages! It really meant a lot, thank you all!
Also thought I should update you on work kitty! As I told you before he sure did get in quite the pickle! Turns out his hiding place after the accident was in the wall under the sink & since he only came out when everyone left we had to leave it open so he kept going back in there. But almost a week after all this happened mom saw him sneaking around during the day & quickly closed the doors to under the sink. He wasn't to happy about this at first & would not let anyone touch him but after about 2 days he remembered how much he loves to be the center of attention and he is back to his usual loving self. He is really making himself at home and it is clear that this boy is not going anywhere! He has come so far, and barely ever hides. He loves to be pet, brushed & even though he wasn't sure about them at first he is really getting into toys! Especially the ones that squeak, he just loves them! And he finally has a name! Everyone agreed on it a few weeks after he started coming back out again. What is his name? Dennis the Menace!

Well it sure has been too long. I keep trying to update my diary but every time the entry doesn't save! So hopefully this one will work. I have alot to update you on our feral friend.
He has been getting a lot better. He is actually friendly & sweet! The peeps got him to the point now where he doesn't hide but runs to them and likes to be brushed, pet & held! Its amazing. He is a bit of a talker too, but only if you talk to him. If one of my people says something to him like "How are you doing kitty?" he will respond with "Meow. Meow." It doesn't matter what you ask he will talk back to you in the sweetest way. It has taken a lot of time & effort but our buddy has come a long way. He likes to be talked to in baby talk, loves fresh water, toy mice and being scratched behind the ears. That all being said this week has not been his best and we have run into a big road block.
Yesterday morning my pops come into work to quite a surprise. As I have told you before my rents own their own lawn & garden business, and their work building is pretty small just one story with a basement used for storage. For several months now kitty has had the run of the building & has done well with it and is really active at night & likes playing he toys. Earlier this week something spooked him & he has started to go back to his original behaviors. And yesterday morning didn't help. When my human walked in he was welcome with half the office flooded with water, he scattered to try and figure out where it was coming from and found the source & what had happened. Someone left the cabinet under the sink opened in the kitchen the evening before & kitty ran in there after everyone left. He began moving around & trying to hide more and even though he is little guy he somehow managed to knock one of the pipes out of place which led to the office being flooded. Poor guy was frantic by now & found a new hiding spot. In the wall! We have no idea how he got there & actually for a good part of that day everyone thought he somehow got loose because they couldn't find him. But then they heard some faint mews close by. It was such an awful day. The sounds of all the fans & such spooked kitty even more & to matters even worse the shop vac the peeps were using caught on fire! OMC! Luckily no one was hurt. And we do know kitty can get out of his odd hiding place because morning we food eaten, water drank & poop left in the litter box. Everyone is just so worried about im & are afraid he might be hurt. So please if you can purrr for him.
We will keep you updated & sorry for the long post. Just so much to meow about!
Purrrs~

Hello my sweet furiends!
I have missed you all and really need to get better about updating my diary! First of I wan to wish you all a very merry christmas & holiday season! The furmily is very excited for santa paws to come, but the furless always seems to miss me a bit more during the holidays. When they put up the tree she thought of how I could spend hours playing the down low ornaments, I loved it! But that crazy Charlie that I sent her is keeping her busy. And boy is that guy big! At 9months old he is almost 15pounds, oh my! Good luck Clemy, hahaha!
Well I also wanted to tell you guys EK & I sent the peeps another kitty to take care of. They thought they were done after I sent them that crazy big boy Charlie but we had other plans. This guy is a bit different & was definatly in need of some love and we knew my furmily could give that to him. Back in August, a cute litlte white & black (he has big spots all over) showed up at mom & dad's small little office. The office is close to some woods so they have seen many deer (even an albino one once!, & even some skunks, opposums & all that. But never in the many years they have rented the building a kitty! Mom of course ran out & bought the guy some food! He vanished for a while & we thought maybe he went back home. But a week later he came back & has stayed since. It has become clear the poor guy doesn't have a home. Mom & her secretary Christy (a fellow animal lover) have been feeding him just about everyday since then & since they are off on the weekends he gets a big can of wet food on Monday. He is very sacred thpugh & won't let the peeps touch him, even though they wanted to get him inside because it was so cold. They even made him a nice warm kitty house!! But he was scared of that to. So they decided work kitty shouldn't have to spend his nights freezing his tail off, so they set out a cat trap & some tuna and on Monday mom drove him to a low cost spay & neuter clinic & he was a good boy. He got his shots & his neuter went well, and thats when he found he is was a he & that his age is about 4 to 5. He is chilling in a room that is rarely used in the office & he has many boxes & such to hide in and is doing well. Dad says we aren't keeping him. But thats what he said about Emma, moi, Clemy & Charlie. So we all see how well that works out, hehehe.

Well long time no meow, my pals!! It has been so long, the human has been so busy she has hardly had anytime to get on the puter. And it doesn't help that she hasn't had a computer of her own for many months after it died so her online time has been limited and catster has been so rare! I have missed you all so much! And I have some updates. It has been a year since Clementime was welcomed into the family, and it was like she has always been there!! The dogs don't bother her at all, she roams the house freely, sleeps with the human boys every night, and to the dislike of the girl she still goes outside on occasion but compared to when she first arrived it is a big change. However she always always wants to go outside at night, but thats a big no no.
Now I have some big news that I ave been keeping from you, and I hope you don't get mad at me because it is pretty big. We......have.....a....new......family.............memeber!!! !!!! And his name is Charlie! He is a 8month old, tuxedo mustached, trouble causing love bug. And big! Oh my especially compared to moi!! The girl took him in the day before the 4th of July, she was volunteering at a local animal shelter & some one found him & brought him. Poor baby was probably dumped. The people who found him were great, but had a cat hating dog & both peeps were allergic to cats. Since it was a holiday weekend most shelters & animal controls were closed fo several days & the no kill shelter the girl was at doesn't take in strays. So the fam took him to "foster". Ha! Yeah they fostered him, just like they did Emma and yours truly. They fell in love & when nobody came forward for him he joined the gang! Go check hin out, the girl finally made him a page (she just got a new laptop & some spare time so hopefully more catster time will be in the picture). I have to admit he is pretty stinking adorable. But I would have not been a happy camper with him!! Oh no! So good luck Clemy! Lol. Well just thought you guys might want to know whats going on. Hope all is well with you all!

Hi pals!
Sorry it has taken furever for me to meow again, the furless has just been amazingly busy. Well I guess I should give you all an update on all those sweet souls dumped at the shelter almost two weeks ago. Mama is doing great, she did have a few "poop" problems but everything is fine now & the babies are little balls of fire! And the two 6month olds are still a bit sickly but are getting better each day, and should be spayed & up for adoption fairly soon. Now it turned out little Abby had a uper respartory infection but is on some meds & is eating more so keep your paws crossed that she will 100% A-OK. Oh and last week furless learned from Donna that on that Friday (the day after all those sweets where dumped) Donna came to work to see a little brown flash. She followed the "thing" to find it was a 8 week old (about) tabby kitten. Yes the same age & everything of little Abby. Donna called the little girl over and she came right up & talked to Donna and purred and loved! Little tabby girl ended up going to the same foster home as Abby that same day and seems to be doing great though she has a minor uper respartory infection like Abs. The furless is going to the shelter on wednesday & thursday so she will let you know if there is even more updates.
Ok now I have some even bigger news!! Well there is a new cat in the human's livers, ok not 100% new. I guess I shall begin from the start:
About 6 or 7 years ago our neighbors (Lets call them the "V" family) that live on our left side adopted two kittens that their friends had found. Valentine (a calico/tabby) and Clemintine (a stunning calico girl). The family of 7 loved the little girls dearly, and eventually got another cat about 3years ago a boy named Baby. Everything was going fine for the V furmil & all the pets but then in March08 Valentine was let out like normal but sadly was hit by a car & died that night. Then in last August Mr.V & Mrs.V made the final decision to split up and soon after Mrs.V moved out into a friends house. Then Baby & Clemy where moved outside full time due to peeing in the house (though it wasn't 100% their fault, their peeps never cleaned the litter box!) Clem was OK with it but Baby hated it. Then about a month or so later Mrs.V got her own place about 5minutes away and took both of their dogs & cats. Though Clemy kept escaping & coming back "home" which scared every one because she could very easily get hit. So Mr.V bought some food & a bed and put it on the front pooch and that is where she has been for a bout a year now. But on the 1st of this month Mr.V moved out into his new town house. And he is almost totally moved out now. And sadly he can't take Clem whith him so on that night she just sat on the drive way and meowed and lonely tune. Tracey (another neighbor who lives on the V's right side & our furmily's good friend) saw this and moved Clem's bed over to her porch (one of Clemintime's favorite napping spots) and poured some water & food for her. Mom & the furless had also talked to Mr.V and told him that they would feed Clem up by their garage and in the winter time have her spend nights (and even days if she wanted to) in the nice warm garage. The peeps have known Clemy since she was a month old and she is such a lovng, talkative, fun, social, sweet, and friendly litte girl. She is still getting used to having to come up our big hill drive way to eat & drink and sleep in her bed she is getting better. Thefurless is also planning on getting her some flea treatment for her tomorrow and then on Aug.23 they are planning to take her to Petco's low cost clinic for her shots (which she is over due for, because her old owners haven't taken her to the vetman in years). They would love to have her indoors but she is just so used to being an outdoor kitty & is afraid of those annoying dogs. So I guess you could say the peeps got a new kitty! Well in a way she is the neighborhood's kitty now but still. And the peeps are still looking for the perfect cat or cats (they would really love to adopt a bonded pair).
Well gotta go!! Just wanted to let you all know about our new little furiend....

Hi my furiends!
Sorry I haven't meowed in a while the human has been very busy and has really been missing me lately so it has been hard to find catster time. And July 21st marked my one year bridge mark which the furless can hardly believe. This is going to sound cheesy but to her it seems like just yesterday when she held my face in her hands and kissed my head, told me she loved me 50 times and watched me take my last breaths. She had been dreading this day for a while now but it actually didn't go as bad as she thought. The furless went to the pet connection animal shelter around 8am like normal (since it is summer she has been volunteering about 3 times a week instead of just 1 or 2) and was there till about 5pm. Since she has been volunteering there now for almost a year she is a pro and instead of just taking photos she helps with just about everything. The furless says that it is a great way to help animals and get her "cat fix". MOL.
Anywho after a long day whenthe furless came home she hopped on the computer and went straight to the Best Friend's Animal Society website on a mission to sponsor a new feline friend in my honor. She has been wanting to do this for a long time and decided that it was the perfect time. After spending forever looking through all their cats needing sponsors she finally came across "the perfect one". Little miss Emillia a beautiful dilute torti that really reminded the human of yours truly. All in all it was a sad with lots of tears but also a happy one with a endless amount of happy memories.
Oh and before I go I wanted to tell you a little story. Well the furless went to the shelter again on Wednesday & Yesterday. But yesterday was a little different. Since it was thursday and that is the only day the shelter doesn't have their low cost clinic during the week there wasn't as much staff when they opened. But when thefurless walked in she said hi to Sharron (the receptionist) and Sharron told her "hi" but with a side of "somebody dumped three kittens this morning". The furless dropped her stuff on the table and happily followed Sharron to the front entrance and sure enough the furless say two small dirty cat carriers. She walked over and was greeted with a million meows & purrrs (something she misses not hearing every day). In the first carrier was a young medium haired dilute torti along with her three young little babies that very proudly showed off their very loud little voices. In the second carrier where another two cats, both dilute torties (one medium haired & the other short haired), who are about 6months old. And it was obvious that they where from the mama cat's previous litter because they looked exactly like her. After sitting with them for a few minutes Donna (the cat caregiver at the shelter) came in & thefurless told her about the newbies. Donna flipped out her phone and began calling people to see if any foster parents could take them for atleast ten days on a hold. She found a foster for the older girls & she decided to take in the babies & mum. So thefurless brought the carriers into the shelter and went into the clinic/laundry room to set-up some an area for them (the shelter is cageless but when newbs come in they usually have to stay in cages for a few days). When she went to check on them she almost had a heart attack when she saw the front of mama cat's carrier broke off and she was heading for the open door leading outside that the human forgot to close. Thefurless called mama over and believe it or not she came right over! Thefurless moved mama & babies into a new carrier and finnished making up the cages. When she went to go get the cats she was greeted by Donna who had was holding a little white fluff of kitten. Thefurless asked if it was one of the babies but Donna said no & come to find out the little 8weel old siamese girl had also been dumped, but probably by a different person then the others, and was thrown in one of the dog yards. And when one of the dog caregiver let Noah (a shar pei mix) out he noticed the dog was acting kind of weird. Pawing & barking at a dog house in the corner, so the caregiver went & checked it out to find the little kitten hiding behind the dog house. Donna held sweet Abby (Donna's idea, she wanted to name one of the babies after thefurless hehe) while the human got a cage ready for her also. Poor Abby was covered in fleas & had some bad eye-boogers & was a bit skinny. She was also super thirsty & spent about 4minutes just drinking water and spent the rest of the day sleeping on her little bed. Well after setting up Abby furless brought in momma & babies. She finally got a good look at the litte ones, and found that there are two girls & one boy: An adorable little grey girl, a beautiful black & brown tabby girl and a orange & white handsome boy. All are long haired and three weeks old. Thefurless put them in the large cage and they went straight to the dry food and chowed down (though they are still nursing). Furless then pulled out mama to find that she was drastically underweight, but furless was happy to see mama join her babes in pigging out. Then it was time to pull out the two sisters (who where later named Tia & Mia) and the furless was a bit happy to see they had a bit more weight then the mama but they also very much enjoyed the pile of dry food. As the day went on thefurless checked on her new friends every thirty minutes and soon saw that one of the little dilute torti girls (Mia I think, the one with shorter hair) looked almost exaclty like me. Which put a big smile on the furless's face. Well everybody is in foster now and Mia & Tia are going to get spayed in ten days & then be put uo for adoptions. Mama & babes are going to be in foster for a bit more, same with Abby, and then they will all get fixed and get their shots. And even though thefurless & peeps at the shelter where really mad about the dumping they are a happy that these guys don't ever have to worry about missing another meal or feeding another litter of babies ever again.
Well just want to share that with you all! Love you guys.

Well the peeps had a great trip to the lake! It was a bit rainy a few mornings but they all had fun. And the friends they where staying with brought their 2 cats down (Oobbie & Rocky). Well Damon did when he came Friday afternoon with the furless's 2 brothers. And well lets just say it was a long 3 hour ride! The cats where very stressed and meowed on & on, threw up, and went to the bathroom in their crates. But when they came to the lake house they where fine and spent most of their time on the big screened in porch looking at the birds and even some ducks. And at night Oobbie & Rocko snuggled up with the furless at her feet and right by her head, and she didn't complain she missed my nightly snuggles.
Even though they had such a amazing time boy they are glad to be home!! And the furless got a big suprise when she logged on this morning to find out that the diary lady chose me as a ddp! Woohoo! Thanks HQ & Miss diary lady. I even get to share this purrrfect day with my beautiful pal Rocky Ann!! I also want to send a big thank you shout out to all my great pals who sent me congrats & diary comments, love you guys!

Well hi there pals! Man it has been a while since I last meowed, the human planned on finding more catster time this summer but has been going more days and longer hours at the shelter and has also been busy with the pet sitting biz. The furless has also been a bit reluctant to go on catster because she has really been missing me, especially since my one year at the brige is on the 21st. Can you belive it is almost a year? The peeps sure can't.
Even though my diary has dead for a bit I have still been checking out the forums and looking in to see how my pals are doing. The furless has been having two weeks of one-on-one time with two of our pals. Oobbie & Rocky! You know the goofy cats that live two doors down from us, and the furless pet-sits. Their family has been at their lake house for 2 whole weeks! But their dad should be coming back today to do a few things. And then the furless, mom and the nine year old squeaky human are going down to Rocko & Oob's human's lake house tomorrow afternoon. This is their third year going down there and they love! Gracie (the squeaky one) packed almost all of her stuff like three days ago and can't stop chatting about seeing her two best friends (Oob & Rocko's family have two twin 10year olds). Then their dad is going back to the lake on Friday afternoon & is bringing my two human brudders (and bringing both of their cats). Then my furmily is leaving on Sunday afternoon. Got all that? MOL. Well I just wanted to catch you all up. And my daddy would be coming but sadly he can't take work off this weekend.
So I won't be on until Monday so I am sorry If I miss any thing my sweet pals or if I take a while on returning thank yous on any gifts (have really been getting bad about that lately).
Love you all!
