Pink failure

So originally my pawsome PINK HONDO CONDO was going in our living room nesseled between 2 big windows in our future home...

HOWEVER... Mittens and Boogie DO NOT know how to get down safely on the condo.... Often they'll jump down from the lowest of the 3 levels. The condo is about 6-7 feet tall I think?

So mom is worried on a wood floor they'll jam their shoulders or get hurt... So I was told it's going in the cat room, on carpeted floor by ONE window.. Fine... It'll do...

I soooooooooooooooo wanted my pink condo in the living main room :( Unless mom gets confurmation from other cats that it's ok for a cat to jump 6 feet down with 20 pounds of muscle on a wood floor, I have pink failure...

Busy

Wowsas I haven't written in my diary in a long time! I've been busy helping mom shop and how sweet of Pansy to give me a stash of gold coins to help mom shop with!

Mom woke up not to long ago so I pointed out that the water fountains kneaded refilling. I'm all about the water and COLD water that comes out of the fridge. We used to have a britta pitcher but mom bought the PUR filters and since then I've drank even MORE water. It tastes better...

I'm also happy that daddy is off this weekend and on nights! We're all night owls especially mom. Only problem is that the stores all close around 9-10pm... Makes things hard when mom wakes up at 3-4pm when dad's on nights. NYC has it goin', open 24/7!

Hey! Where's my blankets?!?!

So mom took ALL of our HL blankets, blankets in general and washed them all. Then she had to hand pick off all the hair clumps (can we meow raggie hair? MOL) and then took a lint-shaver-thingie to them all. 2 hours later, our blankets are smelling gooood!

What prompted this madness was we had some cat yack on some blankets! Now mom is going to put them away until we move!

EXCUSE ME?!?! Well she did leave 3 others out, along with our catnip mats, but c'mon!! I'm going through HK withdrawal as that blanket is packed away!

Battle of the buldge

Ok, so this past week included many meals out and mom said she kneads to stop that and eat at home or her midsection will get as wide as Boogie's (and we do NOT want that).

She seriously can't wait to move 'cause she will have tons of space to cook!! Our current kitchen makes mom mad as it's small. I told her I expect some good cookin' when we move.

I also over heard my mom say that I'm going to get a Spa treatment next month??? Ahem? I'm fine, I don't knead pamperin'!! Oh dear, what is going on... To many changes... *POOF*

Good old fashion pamperin'

Today mom pampered herself by getting a facial and then 5 inches of hair cut off! She hasn't gotten her hair cut in over 6 months!! Not on purpose either as she was just busy with things and couldn't find a time to get her hair cut off!

The guy curled her hair and when he was done, mom and daddy got dinner at their favorite place "Cheesecake factory". Mom got the grilled cheese and daddy got a spicy chicken sandwich. Dad also had to get some pen refills at the mall.

Now, notice... NO ONE bothered to ask me if I kneaded anything OR if I wanted anything! AND MOST IMPORTANTLY they didn't bring ME shopping!! The nerve! I'm so hurt!

I want some pamperin!

Me love Sushi!!

Mmmmmmmmmm yesssssssssureeeeeeeee' I love sushi!! Mom made some last night for dinner and she enjoyed the left overs for lunch today!! And of course she shared the tuna!

We don't eat raw fish here (tried but nah), but will eat crab, shrimp and tuna fish (canned) mixed w/ Mayo for our sushi :) It's good, seriously!

So I got my sushi fix. That is my Valentine's treat as I love sushi :) Now if only Catster would bring back the sushi gifties as I miss those!!!

Dad has to figure out dinner tonight... Oh dear... It's been tough as he worked all weekend and today! He can't do reservations as everything's booked, so best of luck to him! :)

Not quite Sushi...

Well mom and dad ordered Chinese last night for dinner as the non perishable food/meals was getting a bit old after a week MOL. As mentioned before in other diaries, mom and dad left the grocery store as they weren't going to stand in line for an hour minimum for 5 things.

We had already gone grocery shopping 2 weeks prior to the first BIG storm on the East. Well, we got hit again yesterday and said, "ENOUGH" with soup, pasta, carbs! So after many calls, mom and dad found a place that would deliver Chinese food in this storm! Our snow stopped around 4 and where we live, the crew has been removing snow for HOURS.

We made sure dad gave him an extra big tip for our small order as the delivery dude went out. It's not quite sushi, but it's close :)

Yet the banks are closed everywhere today... Hmmmm mom wanted to deposit a few checks as she never got to deposit them prior to the first storm. Figures the Delivery dude is available but not the banks :)

Mmmmmmmmmm leftovers are calling me!!!

Catmos!

Oh I see that Catster HQ gave everyone a cute gifty in their gifty box area on their pages!!! I forgot what mom put for the background and low and behold I see a yummmmy pink catmo!! *Back off Ele'*

We're going to get snowed in again :( Mom hasn't been able to send vday cards out for Allie and Tessa yet... Dang snow!

It's as if we live in the midwest or something!!! Mom hasn't seen this much snow since winter of 2001 when mom was in grad school in Cleveland, OH!!

I'm going to snuggle in my Hondo Condo and hope that it stops! Our future neighbor out west (and daddy's co-worker) said that the housing dudes are going like mad to work on our roof!! Good 'cause mom was worried what 4 feet of snow might do to an in-progress roof!! Lots of reports that roofs are collapsing due to the weight of snow!

Dandruff?

For once I don't have too much dandruff near my bum! Instead Mother Nature has a BAD BAD BAD case of it! We're only at about 4.5 inches but other places like Arlington, our future house are currently with 9 inches. One guy on dad's squad lives on a Mountain (YES Mountain) and they have 19 inches!!!!!!!!!!!

Mom is not at all happy as our roof was getting worked on and now we have a good 9 inches in our living room MOL!!!!!!!!!

Shopping!

At least I'd like to but mom said "NO!". Dad's W2 form came today and mom immediately started to work on our taxes. She's very happy that they're done and hopes that she didn't mess them up! *knock on wood, scratch on condos*. Purrrsonally I'd like to use the refund to buy a few things, but mom said we must save.

Doesn't she know this divo has a big itch to shop? I know mom does too but she said we must keep saving, saving, saving until we move.

Our foundation on our house is officially done and all the concrete is done as well... UNFORTUNATELY today Mother Nature decided to snow!! ARGH!! Just when our frames were going to start to be assembled... Hisssssssssss
