Food! He loved his food, especially wet food!

Kitties who wanted to play with him. He HATED that! He also didn't like to be held too long.

Favorite Toy:
He couldn't be bothered with toys. Toys were for babies.

Favorite Nap Spot:
Mama's bed, next to the big black chair.

Favorite Food:
Any canned food!

He could hold a conversation with you, if you speak cat. He could also grimace like Elvis.

Arrival Story:
Beau-Beau came to me as Bobo. I changed his name because Bobo in Spanish means "stupid", and Beau was anything BUT. He was very beautiful and hence the change to French:) He was then 13 and his former owners suddenly didn't want him anymore, and were going to shoot him! My former roommate, a cousin of his former owners, rescued him. I fell in love with him, and she got a new kitty, so she said I could keep him. He was one of the best things that had ever happened to me! Beau-Beau crossed the rainbow bridge today, 5-16-08. Just two weeks ago my baby was fine; just vomiting a little too much. After several visits to the vet, increased vomiting and diarrhea, dangerously low levels of blood glucose, the vet found a mass near his intestine that was not there 2 weeks ago. We waited for the aspirate pathology results which came in today. By this time I knew it was time to let go. He could no longer eat - his favorite passtime -- and he only drank milk. He had bad diarrhea and vomiting. He was diagnosed with lymphoma, and to ease his pain, I put him down. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my 32 years on this earth. But I felt his presence, he was happy -- pain free, and I know I will see him again. RIP my baby boy. I miss you incredibly.

Beau was a diabetic kitty for the last 5 years of his life. When I first got him he was extremely overweight; he had eaten only dry kibble all his life. He was diagnosed in 2003 and since then I had fed him more canned than dry (low-carb food). His diabetes got out of control once in awhile, until we switched from Humulin-N to PZI, which made a world of difference. ****Please visit my cousin DECCY...he's a pug!!! We can't seem to link to each other right now but here's a link to visit him! Deccy on!

I LOVE my Auntie Gilly!

Can I just say that?? My Mommy was so busy reading things yesterday..she got this big box of makeup and literature from Mary Kay and sat on the bed reading. Vader and Kuzco were playing with the box but I just wanted Mommy to FEED ME! I kept stepping all over her stuff because it was on MY BED, and she kept picking me up, kissing my head, and moving me!

HRMPH! It took her awhile to finally feed my poor starving tummy. I had more meat. Meat, meat meat...that's all I ever get anymore. I miss my carbs!

But that's why I really love my Auntie Gilly. She came home from work early and came over to kiss me (oh, and to talk to my Mommy too, but that was secondary). She had a very familiar bag in her hands, and I immediately stopped pestering Mommy so I could go investigate. Sure enough, I recognized that bag. It had a big yellow "M" on it...and I smelled FRENCH FRIES!

I actually prefer Wendy's french fries, but since I've been given nothing but stupid meat all week, I was going to accept ANYTHING. Auntie Gilly was hesitant to give me a french fry, but Mommy said it was ok, since I had been such a good boy and it wouldn't hurt me to just have two.

So Auntie gave me two french fries! I gobbled those babies up like there was no tomorrow. Man, carbs never tasted so GOOD! I do miss them, though I have to admit, since Mommy took my dry food away, I've not been dehydrated anymore. I don't play in my water bowl and get it dirty, and I don't fill up the litterbox like I used to. So it smells a LOT better! I think Mommy's happy about that, too! Plus, my silky hair is feeling better, not so much dandruff! I know Mommy was worried about me but hey, I'll be alright. I might get sick of eating meat all the time, but she sure picks out the good I feel so much better, I think it's worth it:)
