indoors and outdoors Arrival Story: My husband and I went to the animal shelter to look for a dog (we already had a cat). There weren't any dogs we were interested in, so I decided to go and say hi to the cats. Jose's cage was open and when I came over he crawled onto my shoulder purring and rubbing my face. Well, I was hooked, and he came home with us that day. Bio: Jose was always an adventurer--riding on boats, going on hikes, visiting the neighbors. His adventurous spirit led him to run into the woods one warm July night. He did not return. We assume he met his match in a local coyote or mountain lion.
