I Shed Therefore I Am.

She's acting very strange.

Since I brought her home from her overnight at the vet to get spayed, she has been behaving oddly. For one, she must be near me at all times and she meows and follows me everwhere, even to the bathroom. She must constantly be on my lap, on my feet, on my pillow at night or on my stomach.

She has also become very aggressive towards Wash. Gone are the days of Wash chasing her all around the house. She has even been attacking Wash WHILE HE IS IN MY LAP, then taking his place once he has fled yelping. This past week I have often heard Wash crying and he will run to hide under my feet. Last night, after Smidgen chased Wash from the bed and through the hallway, I found a cat claw embedded in his back leg. I wonder if this is normal. It has sure taught Wash to Beware The Cat. ;)

FIXIN

Well, Wash and Smidgen are now at the Spay/Neuter clinic getting bits and pieces of themselves removed. It's so quiet around here, but it's a good night to give the older animals some attention. When puppy and kitten are home they have the ME ME ME ME attitude and sometimes the older kids can't compete.

I'm worried, though. I plan to be there at 6:15 am, the earliest you can pick up. I took the day off to take care of them. At least Smidgen won't bring every male tomcat within a mile to our front door anymore with her womanly wiles (wails). ;)
