My ex-husbands friend was moving and had to get rid of his cats, so I offered to take her. When we first got her she hid under our bed for 3 weeks. I didn't know what to do, I felt so bad for her. She eventually came out of her shell but still wasn't nearly as friendly as she is now that she lives with just me and Zoey (my other cat).
