I have been tagged for the game going around. List five things about my human that are annoying to me and then tag five of my friends.
1. My Mom rescued me from a bad situation, so it is hard for me to list things that she does that annoy me. I mean, she feeds me, and grooms me, and protects me from rain and snow and Coffee! Coffee thinks she is the Queen of the House and the Whole World. Anyway, I would really like it if Mom would wake up when I tell her the alarm clock is about to scare her out of bed. I try and try my best every day to let her know the alarm is about to sound. I usually start about 30 minutes ahead of time but then I have to be more persistent as it gets closer. I know she is grateful for my efforts because she always says my name. Every day she says “Pandora, please leave me alone and let me blah blah blah blah.” See? She says “Pandora!” That’s my name.
2. I usually love it when Mom grooms me and give me Petramalt but when I sometimes have matted furs, or when my pant furs get really, really long and catches some of my poos, Mom gets out the scissors and gives me a short fur-cut. Most of the time the trimmed furs are not so bad, but when she trims my uh…er…you know, when she trims my panties…well a girl like me just doesn’t like to wear her pant furs that short!! Mom, that embarrasses me!
3. Every morning Mom picks up my baby toys and puts them in the toy box! I have to search and search for my babies until they are all rescued from the toy box and put them back in the living room, or dining room, or hallway and sometimes I let them play in the bedroom. Mom!!! Why do you take my babies every day?
4. My Mom sometimes puts supplies in a thing she calls a suitcase and when she leaves the condo she does not come back for days and days and hours and even though our best friend-fursons come in a feed us and talk to us, I miss my Mom! Why does she have to leave like that? She always comes back, but it still makes me upset.
5. Cat tree! I keep asking and begging for a very tall cat tree so I can run away from that hissy Coffee Pot (Coffee Pot is too fat to run up a tree after me…heeheeheee). Everytime the catalog comes in the mail I make sure I purr real loud when Mom looks at the pages of cat trees. I tell her the word “CAT-a-log” should be a clue that it is meant for her to buy me (a CAT) a cat tree. She still hasn’t brought it.
Now for the final step, I will tag my friend Pandora (cuz she has the same name as me!), Jaspurr, Polarus, Regulus, and Rufus. Now, tag five other friends and invite them to play!

Dear Diary,
We received some sad news today. The Princess Pooter is very, very sick. Princess Pooter was one of our family's first Catster furiends. http://www.catster.com/cats/336990
Purrs and prayers are needed.

Dear Diary: I've been tagged by my friend, Tweak. Thanks for tagging me Tweakie! Now all I have to do is answer five questions and then tag someone else.
1. Do you ever wake your parent up in the night? Not so much the middle of the night but early in the morning. I think Ma really likes it when I warn her that the alarm clock is getting ready to buzz and she needs to get up and fix my breakfast. Ma always shouts my name out when I wake her! She never calls out Coffee's name early in the morning.
2. Do you ever tear up things? No, I'm a princess and in princess training school I was taught to always be beautiful, use only the scratching post, and keep my tiara straight when on the cat walk. I am kind to my toys and all my stuffed babies.
3. What is your favorite treat? CHICKEN!!!! If you see my friend Tweak's page, you will see a long list of chicken flavors that she likes -- I like those too! Maybe Tweak went to princess training school too.
4. Can you fetch something when asked to do so? YES! I do it all the time. Ma is so mean to my stuffed babies -- she tosses them around and I have to fetch them and put them back in their bed -- or on my Trankie Blankie that Hazel Lucy's mom made just for me!
5. Have you ever lived any place other than where you live now? Yes. This is my third home, but it is the LAST place. I don't think I will ever have to change to another mommy again. The first mommy was a breeder and the second mommy did not know how to take care of princess kitties. My furever mommy understands how delicate a princess kitty can be and she takes gooooood care of me.
Now I think I will tag my friend Tessa! She is a princess, too. Tagging friends helps us all learn new stuff about each other. I like that!

Dear Diary. Normally I have to wake Mom every morning. I usually start about 1 minute before the alarm goes off -- gently meowing in Mom's ear (Mom said I need to learn the difference between gently and loudly), leaping back and forth on the pillow over her face -- you know, all the usual stuff felines have to do to warn their furson that the alarm is about to go off. Today the usual did not happen!
Mom woke before me and instead of snoozing 3 times with the alarm, she was up and headed to the kitchen! Yup! Mom woke me! She put on her glasses, pulled out two bowls for breakfast for me and Coffee, and then she stopped. *Meow Mom, you are not supposed to stop fixing breakfast!* She interrupted breakfast to check her Blackberry! Mom!!! First she checked her office mail and then she checked her Catster mail. Then she started jumping up and down and squealing! Yup, she was squealing. "Pandi is Cat-of-the-Day! Pandi is Cat-of-the-Day!" She kept saying my name over and over and over and that is when I know she is talking to me! I raised up on all my tippy toes and danced around Mom as she danced around me!
"But, Mom" I asked, "where's my breakfast?"
Not only did she give me breakfast, she gave me some treats, too!
Now I am headed off to find a sun puddle and bask! Then I have to remind that old Coffee Pot all day long that I am Cat-of-the-Day -- ALL DAY!

Dear Diary,
After a month of climbing over boxes and package tape, me and Queen Coffee Pot were moved from our safe little apartment to a very large condo. It was SCARY! On the day of the move, Mom woke up very early. At first I was excited because I knew breakfast would be served up early...and it was. But that was a trick Mom played on me and Pot. After breakfast, we were closed into the bedroom and then much to our surprize we were put into cat jail -- or cat carriers as the furson calls them. Despite all the protesting we did, Mom did not let us out. It was a good thing because four strange men showed up and started picking up all the boxes, and the sofa, and the chair, and the bed, and the ironing board and all the stuff we own.
The strangest thing happened next. It suddenly became very quiet. We didn't hear Mom's voice, or anything. We were just left alone...in an empty apartment...in jail.
What seemed like days and days passed. Mom finally showed up and started apologizing like crazy to me and Coffee. But she didn't let us out of jail! Instead we were carted off downstairs to where Mom's friend was waiting with a car! From there we rode to an underground garage, loaded onto a bell hop cart, and taken on an elevator ride! I have NEVER been on an elevator before! NEVER!
Mom put us into a room with lots of windows and a big, big closet. Of course me and the Queen took off for the closet and just waited...and waited. Once we decided it was safe to explore, we found our old bed, our litter pan, all the toys I thought I had lost, our cat mats...everything! We were closed up in one room for a couple of days. After that we had full run of the new place and it took us about five days to learn all the new sounds of the building. We like the new windows. We like all the space we have to run around.
I posted some photos of the view we have from the bedroom and one photo of the building...which I did not get to see from outside since I was in the lock-up!
Mom has been giving me and Old Coffee Cup lots of treats and catnip and attention. I will forgive her for uprooting me...but I need to let her suffer for a few more days! Heeheee.
Purrs,
Pandi (with a heart over the i)

Guess what???!!! Mom told me and Queen Coffee that we are moving to a really BIG new house that has 12 BIG windows and a window seat where we can study the world! And she said that we would have a heated pillow on the window seats to keep our paws very warm when it is cold outside. Our new home is called a condo and it is tall -- more than 27 floors!! And me and Coffee Pot get to live with Mom on the 27th floor!
Mom held me really, really close and told me that I would like our new home. She whispered in my ear a secret! She will make sure that I have a safe place to hide at anytime I feel scared or just want to be alone! I am soooooo excited! *clapping paws and dancing on tip-toes* When we get to the new condo I am going to find my safe place and not let The Pot know where it is!!
The best part is there will be boxes and boxes and boxes that I can explore while Mom gets all of our toys and food bowls ready to take to the new condo. I have to make sure she packs the auto feeder carefully 'cause I don't want her to have to reset it -- it feeds me the right amount every day!
I have to close this diary entry and go round up all my favority mousies and toys and put them with my cat nap mats. I have to make sure they go to the new condo with me!
Then I have to write a special note to Pedro, my favorite black cat in the WHOLE world.
Luv,
Pandi (with a heart over the i)

Dear Diary,
Coffee -- the Queen of this house -- tagged me to play a new game invented by Woozle: What vegetable, fruit or flower would you be?
Coffee Cup said in her diary that only the most intelligent and beautiful cats can play the game!! I suspect Mom tagged me using Coffee's p-mail log in while Coffee wasn't looking!! But, I will show that 'Ol Coffee Pot that I AM as smart as I am beautiful!
I had so much fun thinking about what vegetable, fruit or flower that I would be!
If I were a vegetable, I would be the Pattypan Squash! It has tender flesh. It is also small and round with scalloped sides -- and looks just like a toy that I could have fun batting across the floor and giving chase to! I also like to say its name "Pattypan", "Pattypan", "Pattypan".
If I were a fruit, I would be a peach! I would be the fuzziest peach you ever laid eyes on -- and beautifully sweet smelling too!
If I were a flower, I would be an African violet. Did you know the African violet has heart-shaped leaves? I love things that are heart-shaped! I sign my name with a heart over the i all the time!
OK, the next step is to tag a few friends by sending them a Rosette. I think I will tag my friend Tweak and my Ragdoll friend also named Pandora!
Nose kisses,
Pandi (with a heart over the i)

Dear Diary,
I was tagged -- TWICE! At least it took that many times before I could get Mom to the computer to play the game! So, for my tags from Pedro (my beau cat) and Lillian (my furiend)...
I am supposed to tell seven things about me and then tag seven friends. Here are my seven things:
1. I have learned that I can help Mom get up when the alarm clock interrupts her sleep. All I have to do is jump on the bed and walk back and forth on her pillow, jumping over her head just far enough that my belly fur tickles her face!!!
2. I love to eat. I race Coffee Pot to the automatic feeder and I win 'cuz I can run much faster!
3. I like to be groomed. Purrrrrrr.
4. I have favorite toys and will hunt for them if them are not where I put them down last! I carry them in my mouth and go from room to room looking for the safest place to keep them.
5. I love to sleep in my carrier or in the kitty stroller!
6. I like to jump out the front door when Mom is holding lots of packages and cannot close the door in my face! Then I run across the hall and say hi to the neighbor cat! This is a new trick that I learned.
7. I have the most handsome black cat for my boyfuriend! His name is Pedro and he lives in San Francisco. He loves my blue eyes and my fluffy tail!
Ok...the next seven cats who read my diary are automatically tagged! You have to list 7 things about yourself in YOUR diary!

Dear Diary,
I have been tagged several times, and have dictated many times to Mom, but she just kept putting off doing her secretarial duties! Maybe the heat is getting to her.
So, I need to list six things I do not like and then tag six other cats who will put in their diaries six things they do not like! Fun!
1. I do not like it when I am asleep and I do not dream about my Pedro! He's the most handsome cat and he's my best catfriend forever! XOXOXOXOXOX to you Pedro!!
2. I do not like for humans to come after me and act like they are going to pick me up. That is the most frightening part of life...watching a human come toward you with both arms extended to pick you up.
3. I do not like it when Coffee chases me off the bed when all I am doing is giving Mom some attention.
4. I do not like to have my pants cut so short in the back! Yes...I have long fur and it sometimes gets in the way of my litter pan business...but come on, Mom! Do you have to cut my pants that short?
5. I do not like it when Mom goes away for conferences or vacations. I like the catsitter...I just don't like it when Mom leaves me alone overnight with The Coffee Pot!
6. I do not like it when Mom hits the snooze button on the alarm clock! I have to keep going back to her and ME-OWWW very, very loud...and my throat gets tired...and I'm hungry...

I have to tell a favorite Laurel story! When I was added to Catster, Mom knew that anytime I signed my name "Pandi" I would make a little heart over the "i". So that became my tag line "Pandi (with a heart over the i). Within days of being on Catster and playing some of the games, Aldo and Tess started calling me "Pandi (wahoti)". My Mom bust out laughing the first time she read it! She knew immediately what Laurel had done -- abbreviating the "with a heart over the i"! I started using the "wahoti" immediately so Tess and Aldo would know that Mom understood Laurel's line of thinking. I will always think of Laurel each time I use "wahoti" in my signature. ~whispers to the heavens~ Thank you Laurel for the smiles and the one-of-a-kind tag line.
