Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Coloration: Gray and White

Likes: Food. Water. Food, Food, and more Food.

Pet-Peeves: An empty food dish. He thinks most of Fortitude's games are pretty annoying. Being hugged or cuddled.

Favorite Toy: A little patch of rabbit fur called "Toy." (And anything covered with catnip.)

Favorite Nap Spot: On his human's bed.

Favorite Food: Most cat food. Most people food. He's a pretty adventurous eater!

Skills: Yes. He can produce an almost ghostly yowl while playing with his toy. He plays "fetch" with it from time to time. He also has a phenomenal purrrrrrrrrrrrrrr--you can hear it across the room!

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: His original family had a child who became very allergic, so he moved in with us.

Bio: Boomer is a gourmet cat. He even has a seat at the dinner table. He has his people very well trained --we almost always offer him a sample of whatever we're having. If he weren't a cat, he'd be a camel--he drinks lots and lots of water.
He's also crazy about his Mom. And she's crazy about him! Sometimes, in the winter, when it's cold enough to justify a sweater, she dresses like him. Grey sweater over white shirt, grey pants, white socks and pink (red) paws---erm, I mean boots!

Lives Remaining: 8 of 9

Forums Motto: Leave me alone...unless you're Tabitha!

I got some turkey. I got some turkey. La la la la la la!
**Does Pound Puppy Dance** (It’s like the cabbage patch dance, only doing the circling motion with the tail instead of arms.)
Ooops! Sorry, 'Tude...didn't mean to show off...
(Well, maybe just a little.) I got some turkey, some yummy turkey...
Peace…..
Of turkey!

Today was a really good example of a typical day in my life…
I woke up. Went with Mom and supervised as she got her morning paper. Ate. Drank. Helped Mom eat her breakfast. Found a comfy nap spot. Got shooed away so a human could sit there. (The injustice of it all!) Ate. Drank. Used the Litterbox. Fought with Forty for the good chair. Found a better nap spot (on Mom's bed...in the sun....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh). Ate. Drank. Asked for more egg salad. Got some. (Yes!) Napped. Fought with Fortitude for the good chair. Got shooed away by the humans again. Got brushed. Pooped. Ate, Drank. Took a bath. Took a nap. Used the litter pan. Took a nap. Helped Sis with her late nite snack. Time for Bed!
With all these responsibilities, it's a wonder I ever get anything done!
Peace ...........
of cheese,

Happy New Year Everyone!
"2008—Isn’t that nifty?" That’s my slogan for this year. It’s sort of “Little Mr. Sunshine,” wouldn’t you say?
It’s been a while since I’ve written anything, so here’s an update for you…
I still love to eat…a lot, but since Forty got sick, we haven’t been getting nearly as many treats as we used to. I still get to try human food every once in a while…like today, I got a taste of some excellent egg salad. Mmmm mmmm mmmm mmmm mmmm! It was so eggy and yummy I think I’ll ask for more tomorrow…
Let’s see. My Mom has started to close the door to our room at night so that Fortitude can’t bother us. Is that groovy or what? Since I’m not so worried about Fortitude jumping on me, I even manage to relax a little. Sometimes I relax so much that I even cuddle with Mom, but don’t tell anyone, I wouldn’t want to destroy my reputation.
The absolutely best thing about the new situation is…there’s a secret stash of MY food …just for me! I don’t have to share. It’s amaaaaaaaaaaazing!
My favorite toy practically disintegrated over the summer, so I’ve chosen a purple felt mouse to take its place. It’s fierce. It’s got superior aerodynamics for when I play “fling that toy” with my human sister.
Hmmmmm. I guess that’s about it. I’ll see if by writing my blog again I can re-start the great treat machine. Just because Fortitude got sick doesn’t mean I should be penalized, does it? Keep your paws crossed. More taste treats means more interesting journal entries.....
Peace...... of pizza,
Boomer
