Favorite Nap Spot: He likes to curl up on the back of the covered TransAM. And sleeping in the pool floats.
Favorite Food: Meow Mix, wet and dry. He also enjoys occasional treats of meats.

Arrival Story: One day my sis and I arrived home and Arlene was dancing like crazy. She had been getting rounder and rounder with kittens and this time she was slim again. I followed my crying cat to the side of the house and hear little mews. I lost my breath trying to call my sis over to see. Arlene had 2 kittens, one looked just like their daddy, Garfield, and the other looked similar to Simba. They were born on April 29, 2005. Unfortunately, the peach one wasn't looking so good and I tried to help her move and get her to Arlene, but she wouldn't eat. Sadly, a few hours later she passed away, but the orange one was full of life and crawling wherever he smelled his mommy go. We eventually took them inside cause of those nasty racoons coming by so close to them. We decided to name him Luca incase he was a boy or girl, we didn't know what gender he was. Since he was young for flea meds, we had to bathe him... Poor baby, covered in soap, crying in the sink and trying to climb up my arms all the time, but I didn't mind. I will always remember hearing Arlene crying back to him from outside the front door. Until he was about 5 months, we knew Luca was boy! A few months before his 1st birthday, we moved across town. Devistatingly, Arlene was hit by a car early morning on April 19, 2006. She was just about due with more of Garfield's kittens and her son's birthday was in 10 days. We had all boys left and it wasn't the same without her. In about a month, Garfield disappeared on May 9, 2006. But Luca and Simba were the greatest boys, staying close to home and being extra careful. That fall, Luca created himself his own trick. He found a way to climb up on the roof. Once he did and figured out that I would get him down through one of the windows, he went up almost every day. It got to 4 times a day, open the window, let him, and put him back outside. Now that the window is stuck, he doesn't go up there often anymore, but he will sometimes. Luca has grown so much and reminds me all time of Arlene and Garfield. He's a very good boy and makes me so proud... He's my fuzz face baby.
Bio: Luca is everything like his mommy and daddy. He has both of their personalities and looks. He surprised me how he meows just like his mommy and has the girly tone of his daddy. Today had to be the coolest day we've had all sumer! This past week, our temperatures were in the 90s, Wednesday was 97! But today had to be in the high 80s and it felt great... A beautiful sun shiny day with few clouds, warm sun, and a cool breeze... Just purrfect! So mommy readied herself for a swim in the pool. Soon she went in to make some lunch and back she came. Simba and I cried as she went back to the chairs and she told us she had a treat for us! The sandwich was for her... but we got some ham! Mmm... Of course we gobbled it down!
Mommy came out a few minutes ago to see if Sebastian was near by and she told me it was cool. It's in the low 80s! She said she was getting a chill! I just gave her a look that we're enjoying the cool temperatures while we can. Never been such a cool summer day before! Maybe it's a hint of autumn coming... our trees are going bald anyways MOL!
Mommy went to the kitchen to put away some dishes and turned on the porch light to poke her head over to see if anyone was here. She was surprised to see a very pleased visitor eating from the bowls! It was a raccoon! She watched him look around, dictating that he was pretty young and something cute happen... he was eating with his paws! She awwed as he grabbed some food with his paws and ate from them and how he just munched like he was too young to care for table manners!
She watched him some more, enjoying our Seafood Medley Meow Mix... I guess we got another critter stuck on our Meow Mix! What can I say, it's good food! She enjoyed watching his young behavior -- she hasn't seen a coon act like this before. She smiled as he looked around, munching away and with one of his paws in the bowl moving about. He just made himself at home... besides his bad habit of chewing with his mouth open and sticking his arms in his food, he's got a good table manner of eating with his paws! He jumped down and took a drink from our water jug just before running off.
No worries, mommy will clean our bowls in the morning. She'll be sure to wipe them out daily, no idea we had a friend coming by!
Mommy hadn't seen my cat furiend for a few days, but that was her and bad timing. It was easy to tell he was coming by, he leaves the bowls empty. But mommy checked the open basement in the house for sale across the street and she was shocked to find a swarm of flies back there. She was worried it was my furiend or someone else... but she looked around as much as she could with the buzzing flies in the way, and hadn't found anything. She was relieved to see my buddy show up last night to eat some dinner. She's gonna head back down there sometime soon to see what attracted all the flies.
She hadn't seen Lily (Domino) for awhile, but she has a feeling not to worry about her. Lily is still thinking of whether she wants a home or not, but is always welcome. As for my furiend, mommy came upon a name for him. She decided to add him to our family list, as well. So please take a look at my pal Sebastian's page and ask him to be furiends! He is ONE furiendly fellow -- that's for sure!
