Tigger tagged me in a game where you list 5 of the most annoying things your humans can do. Then I have to tag 5 friends to do the same and put it in their diaries.
1) Mum is a cuddle-holic. There is only so much cuddling a guy can take.
2) Being kept indoors. I want to roam. OK - so if I do escape, I tend to get beat up, and then it is a trip to the vet.
3) The vet - hey, nice guy, but I can live without stressful car drives, and needles.
4) Breakfast being late on the weekends, because she wants to SLEEP IN. Hey - I'm awake with the birds, why should I wait?
5) Having to share the kitty litter trays with the others. I agree with Roo on this one - I would like my own private kitty litter tray - then I might leave the pot plants alone.
These will be my 5 picks to play the Tag game next:
Marmelade, my brofu Marmalade's mate - two cute peas in a pod
Leroy, the cutest little fellow you've ever seen, and brofur to the famous Wizard Merlin
World's Coolest Soc, what can I say - he's the coolest :)
The Pharaoh Loki, we royal cats have to stick together
Mr Ari Dangerous Beans, dangerous? cute, I'd say
Goodness - I seem to be having a "cute" day - must be cos we all are :)

Oh my goodness. I got a message from Santa asking if I've been naughty or nice, and what toys I like. Christmas is coming around so fast. Seems like only yesterday it was Easter and we were getting bits of turkey and ham.
I think Mum would agree I'm always nice, but sometimes I can be a little naughty, MOL. Heck, I am a cat. Life would be sooo boring if I was good all the time.
I like all toys, but I really enjoy ones I can get my claws into and bunny kick. Sometimes I try doing that to Mum and my brothers too :)

What an honour. I really don't know what to say, expect gee whiz, thanks Samoa.
And talk about being in exhaulted company - see Samoa's Diary for the complete list #283038 - but it includes the wonderful Louis LeBeau, the ebullient Jason Cash, and those handsome brothers Oliver and Dewey.
And her current Dreamboat list includes some of the best known and best loved cats on Catster, including my furmily's dear friends Merlin the Cat Wizard, Captain Morgan, Arnold P., Gordy and Jason Cash's brofur Victor Gibbs.
Dreamboats-in-Training include one of our favourite Angel's Calvin's namesake little Calvin.
Check out Samoa's diary and all the handsome mancats she has honoured. She seems very partial to golden sungods, I would suggest. So I am really honoured that she chose me, cos my brofur Ra usually gets all the attention in the family as there is so much sungod where he is concerned, MOL. Lots to love :) And my little sungod brofur Marmie is just the sweestest, so really I consider it an honour for all our furmily.

I'm one of the featured diaries again - OMC - I cannot believe it. I think Mum better take out a lotto entry in my name MOL - mind you, don't know how we would collect if I won.
Allie continues to make improvements. He is eating well, and using the kitty litter. So for us it has been a magical Christmas. Although our purrs and prayers go out to those kittys who have travelled to the Bridge this season. We are overwhelmed by not only our joy that Allie is still with us, but a,lso sadness that other kitties are not with their furmilies at this time.
Love and purrs to all, Utu

First night home (Monday) Mum kept Allie in the quarantine cage next to her bed. He cried all night, with breaks just long enough for Mum to think she could get to sleep.
Tuesday night she figured she would risk letting him sleep on the bed, and just hope no one stood on him (those dogs have HUGE feet and no control over where they put them, it would seem). Anyway, everyone had a good nights sleep. Allie spent the night in Mum's arms with his Elizabethan Collar tucked under her chin - she actually slept but that was probably because of the lack of sleep Monday night.
He hasn't been eating all that well. He will eat chicken if it is hand fed to him, and some of the special vet dry food. He is drinking lots of water, and using the kitty litter. Dad came home on leave for Christmas Wednesday night (last night). Mum decided to take the collar off to see if that would perk him up. He definitely prefers it off, and it is easier to give him his antibiotic. He hasn't attempted to lick his surgery or pull at the sutures so she has left it off for the moment.
He didn't show much interest in breakfast so Mum put him out with he rest of us on the verandah. He had a tiny bit, and then went into the rumpus room to his favourite spot - a cat bed where he can look out the window. Mum will try some more chicken in a little while.
He is being very affectionate, and purrs as soon as he is touched, so we are hoping it is just the heat which is putting him off his food. None of us tend to eat as much on hot days. Mum is on holidays now, so she will be home with him until she goes overseas, and Dad is here too until she gets back. She hated going to work and leaving him. Tuesday he was in the cage all day, but Wednesday she left him in the bedroom with the door shut. Dad was here before she got home, and Allie was napping on the bed.
Well, that's it for now. Purrs to all in Catsterland.

for the rosettes and paw mail. Soo many furrends on Catster - and I treasure every one. As someone very smart once said, the greatest treasure of all is furrends.
May you all have a wonderful Catmouse and an excellent 2010.
Purrs, Utu

Alex is home, and pretty happy about it too. The vet was going to call yesterday, but then he stopped eating and drinking. But the vet game him a little gourmet can, and some chicken breast and he ate that. I think he was just fed up with being at the vet and wanted to be home. The vet let him wander about the surgery and he was happy with that, but very vocal.
He had more chicken for dinner, and ate it all, but it not too happy about being confined at home. He has been wandering about with Mum, but when she goes to bed he will need to be in his cage. And he will need to be in it while she is at work. Luckily there is only Tuesday and Wednesday, and Dad will be home about 2.30 Wednesday. From then on he will have someone with him all the time. The vet is back on Jan 7, and will take the sutures out then. He said he took the collar off for a while, and Alex didn't try to lick or pull at the sutures.
He's used the kitty litter so that is good. He has some antibiotics for a few days, but Mum will start them tomorrow. Let him settle tonight. He is wandering around, but never far from Mum.
We are so relieved. It is a lot to go through at 18,and we were really worried.
We were all pleased to see him, especially the dogs - well Freya and Valkyrie. I think they think we are their babies.
He has hopped up on one of the lounge chairs, and curled up there.
Thanks to everyone for their purrs.

I was one of the Daily Picks on Friday, then my brofur Ra was yesterday. And now today I am on the front page as Today's Cat Diary.
Wow - Mum wishes she had as much luck with the Lotto, MOL.
Thank you HQ - we are honoured. And also thanks to all our wonderpurrful friends who concatulated us, and most especially, to all our furrends who are purring for Alex. With so many cats needing purrs, we are touched that so many of you have been purring for Allie.
Now, if Ra will just stop chasing me around the house, MOL

before Allie comes home. The vet wants to make sure all is well before he comes home.
We all miss him. It is not the same here without him.
Mum said she could hear him meowing in the background. He can be very talkative when he wants to get his own way.
But I guess the vet knows best, and the cage at the vet's is bigger than ours.
At least we know he will be home for Christmas, cos the vet is going away for a little while.
