Love Machine

Hi, Kitties! It has been a long time since I pawed and entry. I am a very busy guy, you know. Every day there are birds to be watched and things to be knocked off the walls and flat surfaces. I have to sleep during the day, so that I can keep the pawrents up at night. I have to play with Nikko, because he gets lonely when the folks are at work. Well, it all keeps me away from my diary.
However, I had to write today to thank the lovely Pansy for my new page. You see, Mommy is hopeless at making pages, so my good friend Pansy is always kind enough to help.
Pansy really must know me well, because she made me a page that says I am a LOVE MACHINE.
She is so right. I am just that! Listen, kitties, I hate to start any rumors or trouble, but I think maybe Pansy has a little crush on ol' Scooter Pie! I know she says a certain Tux cat is her Valentine. Mwahahhahaha. What will Boogers think if Pansy does have a secret crush on moi? Of course, I am very flattered that she admires me so. Of course, I am also one of Samoa's Dreamboats too. I hope Samoa doesn't get jealous.
Pansy is very fond of our Mommy too. Pansy and Mommy are very close and it is natural that she might become fond of me. I think Nikko is jealous, though. MOL!!
I just love my page and want to thank Pansy for it! Stop by and dance to the music if you have time!

Nikko's birthday is today!

Today is my older brother Nikko's 5th birthday. I want to wish him a fabulous day. He is the best brother a cat could have. I love him so much. He is fun to play with and he watches out for me. Please help me in wishing him a great day.

My 4th birthday!

Hi everyone! It's been a long time since I have pawed an entry. I just wanted to thank all of my pawsome friends for helping me to celebrate my 4th birthday yesterday. I appreciate the voki messages and rosettes and stars and am working on sending out thank yous to everycat that stopped by to make my day more special!! We had a quiet birthday, but I got lots of pets and snuggles. Boy, I am getting old, huh?

It has been a rough few weeks for me. First I had a kitty cold and felt furry bad and Mommy made me go see the VET. pffft! I had to take the pink medicine and it didn't taste too bad, but I resisted just the same. I mean, a boy has to have his pride after all!

I just got off the pink meds and my nasty seasonal allergies flared up so I decided to combat the allergies by getting rid of my ears. I think I heard somewhere that that works. So, I scratched and scratched and scratched and tried to remove my pesky ears. It didn't work. Nikko told Mommy and she looked at my ears and they were all red and scabby, but I had not succeeded in removing them. So, we went back to the VET and I had to have a shot and take some yucky orange medicine and get gooey junk put in my ears.
The gooey junk actually felt pretty good. It turns out that when you try to remove your ears and fail it hurts pretty bad. Nikko also helped by licking my ears alot. Mommy didn't seem to like his nursing efforts. Pfft!
A couple of years ago my allergies were bad and I tried to remove my eyes. I had the steroid shot then too. The shot works, but it makes me feel like a zombie. I am usually social and when I get the shot, I sit and stare at the walls and sleep alot.
My ears are healing well and the shot is wearing off, so I am starting to act like my old self and Mommy has cautioned me not to try to remove my ears again.
Thanks to Pansy, for sending me get well smoochies and to Boogers' mom and Aspen and Co.'s mom for talking to my mom about the whole allergy thing. Their advice really helped.

Well, I am resting tonight after my stressful day going to the vet and being forced to take yucky pink medicine! I feel pretty crummy, but Mommy says the medicine will make me better soon.
I wanted to thank my pals Pork Chop, Samoa, and Aspen for the rosies and get well wishes. Porkers sent me the power of the paw and Samoa and Aspen sent me some cool ice cream for my sore throat! Thanks, pals!

A break from the Tour

Hi kits! I am going to have to take a break from riding in the Tour de France. Lance will have to carry on without me. I haven't been feeling too well the last few days. Mom noticed that I was swallowing funny and sneezing and snurgling. I went to the VET lady today and she said I have a kitty cold/virus and inflamed throat and lymph nodes. She said I am contagious too. I hope Nikko doesn't get it. I am home with amoxicillan and have to rest. Maybe Nurse Pansy can come and take care of me.

I am off to recuperate. Scooter

I might learn to like smoochies after all!

Well, kitties, you all know that, while I am a very loving boy, I don't like kisses. No sir! Kisses are icky! Give me a hug or pet me, but no smoochies.

I may have changed my mind, though. You see, we got a new kitty today. That's right, our best pal PanZy found out that there was a stray cat at The Cat in the Clover. You know. the ETSY shop run by Samoa's mom. Anyway, this stray is a German Princess and PanZy thought our house would be purrfect for her. Her name is Fräulein Prinzessin and she is a blue point with big blue eyes and eyelashes and jewels and a German Dirndl. She speaks German and I am smitten! I could learn to like smoochies from this Fräulein!
Nikko likes her too! She will fall for me, though! Oh, yes!
Thank you PanZy for making sure she found a home with us and thanks to Samoa's mom for rescuing her from the woods.
We will post pictures as soon as possible. Our new friend is a bit tired from the trip and all the excitement of her arrival!
She will have a very nice home with us.

Rat Pack!

No, I am not talking about the Rat Pack of Hollywood fame. I am talking about three catnip rats that arrived today from The Cat in the Clover! The day was going along like usual, then Daddy brought the mail in and said it looked like it was for Nikko and me. For us?? Really? We bounced around until Mommy would open our present and show us. It was a package of 3 lovely big rats filled with catnip!! Yipppeeeee! Pansy, one of our absolute Besties, sent the rats to play with us. She sent them for Easter!! She even sent one for Mommy. I think she felt like she should send one to Mommy too, because she keeps accidentally setting Mommy's hair on fire. (check out our vokis for the evidence.) Well, needless to say, we all love our rats, including Mommy! Mommy is high on nip right now, but when she sobers up we will have her take some pictures of our new rat pals!!
