Tortoiseshell Tabby

Warm sun spots, love and cuddles.

Getting stuck in a room she can't find her way out of.

Favorite Toy:
The Christmas Tree.

Favorite Nap Spot:
Her snuggle-bed.

Favorite Food:
Dry Catfood.

Libby has special needs, not special skills. She can get lost in an open space, spend an hour walking around in circles, and sometimes loses her own back end.

Arrival Story:
Libby was surrendered to an animal shelter after her *forgive me* stupid owners tried to have her declawed and ruined her life! Libby is totally deaf, blind, and partially paralyzed-- she also has some mental retardation. We found Libby when looking for another Himalayan to adopt; though Libby is not a Himalayan, she stole our hearts and we changed our lifestyle to better care for our sweet Liberty.

Libby can see the Christmas tree! In all the time we've had her, we've thought she was 100% blind, but we discovered that she can see the Christmas tree lights. We moved her bed to underneath the tree and she spent all of her time staring up at the little twinkling lights. This is a big step forward for our little girl, and we were so happy!
