Arrival Story:
My friend who is insanely animal-addicted (having a large farm) was driving in the winter on a small, dirt road literally in the middle of no where when she spotted a tiny furball. She drove for twenty minutes before turning around to look for the furball. She discovered a very young kitten on the side of the road, and took the effort to catch the frightened thing. It's face was scratched up as if it had been thrown from a moving vehicule, or attacked. She called to me tell me of her find, and I decided I would give it a home (instead of who she was planning on giving it to). I was a sworn dog lover-cat disliker--but have loved my doglike cat ever since.

Bio:
I believe due to his abandonment, and early age that he became paired with me, he is extra attached/clingy with me. He follows my every step (like a puppy would), sits on my shoulder like a parrot, and is so comfortable in the car, that I don't cage him. He sleeps nicely, (or sits behind my head sort of like the parrot thing. Four out of six police men assure me that is not illegal in my province-although some think it's dangerous). He is about 13 pounds, has very pretty orange and white markings, and a head that seems too small for his body. He always is doing something amusing- and yes, his name is Lucy. He is one of the first transgendered cats.

New but same old?

My human slave is doing the same old, stressing about why she cant finish her workload on time, why the men her age are more like doggies MOL, not that she cares either way. they are her playthings. BUT more importantly, these pigeons have moved into the nests the finch-like birds made last year (too me they are all chicken, so who cares what it actually is labelled by the humans??) and won't stop cooing. Plus, the bird seed on the balconey is bringing more and more diverse things I want to eat if I could only open the lock. I can already move the huge piece of wood my human thinks is jimmying the sliding door shut. (there goes her false sense of security!)

I have the biggest box-house I have ever seen. I like it when the human wastes money on more human stuff. all my others have been recycled, because I love the planet and don't need three box houses.
I am like the Gefforsons (forgive the spelling, I am a cat and can't watch that much tv) moving on up!

Good day all, and I'll have new pics as soon as cheapo over there springs for more batteries for her camera instead of that gizmo she types at all day!

Catty Studies

My human is stressed about her exams and assignments lately- but so am I. I am enrolled in the Higher Cat Living Courses. I practice ways to further my comfort and ease, and I have learned quite a bit from the other catsters here. (which I wouldnt have found without the human's Aunties help- and her aunties kitties arent even on here) Which would be hilarious because one got shaved like a lion and is lacking a bit in the bulk department. MOL
Anyway- the reason I make I diary entry is because I have been experiencing a lot of changes in behaviour lately- I wake up eariler, and make a lot of MEOWS about it. I sleep a lot more during the evening, and I tend to ignore the playful tendencies I used to like, which seems like good things to document!
If you're looking for an incredible smart, well knowledged kitty- look for alex in the box. He knows his stuff.
Bye for now!
Lucy

As you can see, I like to help at the computer. I can push lots of buttons. And end up sending instant messages to people who don't understand the meaning of 444444444444444453333333333sssssssss. I also like to make sure that my human friend is alright in the shower or bath, by surprising her by jumping in. Or by making sure she can't close the door to any room in case I want to come in. So I help make sure she doesn't get distracted... while doing ANYTHING.
Hot damn, I'm a good time to be had. And dont dare try to hide under the covers...
