Arrival Story:
I was fostering for Dane County Friends of Ferals and a woman in Stoughton, WI wanted us to take a feral cat that was living on her property. This was around Feb. 2005 when Wisconsin was voting on legaizing killing feral cats. So I went to pick him up and he had a nasty, infected bite on his neck that he totally let me shave around and clean up. He was the SWEETEST cat I'd ever met. And he's been with me ever since. I can't give him up.
Bio:
MikeNeko (mee-kay nay-ko) is Japanese for cat with three colors. He was diagnosed a few weeks ago with CRF. So, I am doing my best to take care of him and keep him happy and healthy.

I wouldn't touch my livers today. Then Mommy gave me canned food because she wants to make sure I eat and it all came back up. Mommy hopes it was just a hairball! I'm so thin. I'm on Mommy's lap right now to type this. :)

A little over a month ago Mommy took me to get my teeth cleaned. After been feral for 7 or 8 years I had a lot of tartar to take care of. SInce I'm "old" the doc had to do blood tests to make sure I'f be okay with the anestesia. He said my blood work was funny and that I had to come back in two weeks. On the second visit the doc confirmed that my creatnine was a little high and I had teh beginnings of Chronic Renal Failure. I was tired a lot during that time and when Mommy tried to feed me the Rx food, I wouldn't eat it. So, Mommy did some research and now I'm on a raw diet and I take vitamins everyday. I LOVE my chicken livers. Now I'm talkative again and I like to play again. I'm awake a lot more lately,too. Mommy loves me a lot and wants me to enjoy my life. I've only been with her barely a year. She wants a lot more time with me.
