A Very Happy Tearful Thank You

Mewmie checked our mails today and saw a special friend gifted us a new catster plus account. Mewmie was not expecting that at all. She cried for a while was so happy that she can keep our pages looking beautiful like our friends. Was a wonderful surprise for her specially after the day she had at works. She is happy and hoping maybe catster will bring back the who's online function once they get the buggies worked out.

p.s Also Mom wanted to remind everyone, that the Fall and winter seasons are starting and we all know this is the hardest time for cats and folks that have financial issues ( foodies etc). Shelters are in need of donations, either it be donating your time, monies or food stuffs for kitties an doggies. Also Shelters are in need of blankets and toys. Please help where you can. It wont take long, just pop into local shelter and drop items right inside an leave. The shelters will appreciate it and you are helping a good cause. Mom has taken foodies that we wont eat to the local ASPCA here where we live so it didn't go to waste.

Holiday season:

Time for mewmies and daddies to start to think about making home made kitty treats. They make great stocking stuffer s for Your kitty bros and sis's and Can be sent off to kitty pals all over.

Home made cat toys are the best. Take those unused sheets and towels and get to work. If you have an old pillow Wash it and then cut it open and use the stuffing for the stuffing in the new cat toys. CAT NIP is a great add in tooo. It is sold at petsmart and other Pet retailers or You can grow it at home.


Wondering what to do with those empty computer paper boxes or that darn box that you got kitty foodies an toys in from a pal? Well instead of throwing it away and adding to the trash, How about creating a Hide away for your cat!! It;s recycling the box and gives Your cat, tons of fun play time and You alot of enjoyment. *material, Scissors, or sharp knife, Pencil (to make right sized cirle or square or other neat design), Water color paints(these are safe specially if your cat is a licker like mine are), Or non toxic Crayola crayons. COME ON lets bring out that artist in You. Get creative. Best thing is You can stack them and its a wonderful alternative to a cat tree. (with the small usage of some hot glue in hidden areas).****Also Sighs... what to do with all those cat toys all over the house... sometimes it can be just to much... how about making a colorful cat toy box?/// Well its economical and fun to do and cats will love it to. You have many options, cut the hole so the cat (cats) can either have easy access to the toys or... make it a challange. for them to tug a mousie out.. Its fun!! and it gets Your cat to exercise. (to get them interested place treaties or nip inside the box in cat toys or by itself.

*mewmie* Hello everyone, I am making a kitty hideaway, when i am finished i will post pictures. I came up with the idea after seeing how many boxes we go through at work. So why not re use them.


If any one likes my idea please let me know. I am unfortunately unable to afford any cat trees so i decided to go a different route.


*ADOPT or Foster, At Your local ASPCA today! What a wonderful Halloween gift, OR Christmas gift. smiles. Check with local shelters. The time has come for the need for helpers.

Hurricane Irene

MEwmie wanted me to write this cause we may not be able to post for a bit after the hurricane irene hits us. It is supposed to be here Saturday Afternoon into sunday with Very high winds and alot of rain. Even at a cat 1 mewnie said it is very dangerous for our area. ( we live in Delaware) Mewmie has out carriers ready and foods and waters incase we have to evacuate. my Sister tempest is not handling it well i sees her being so jumpy and that isnt like her.We all are doing ok, mewmie is taking care of us. She says her work is so busy with folks freaking out buying stuff for hurricane. we will post as soon as can. Hugss and kitty head bonks to all. we love everyone.

Animal Smarts

Please visit the local Kent county SPCA. There are tons of Kittens and adult cats brought in daily, hourly even that are in need of a good loving forever Home. Adoption is easy. Please also do not forget the Hundreds of dogs awaiting a forever home. Puppies also are brought in daily. This Summer is a hot one. **Remember If You are hot Your dog and cats are hot to.* So give let them inside to cool down. Keep plenty of COLD water on hand for them and Food. *** *Please spay or neuter your dog or cat.* Stop unwanted litters. You will help prevent certain types of cancers to in female and male dogs and cats. BE responsible. * If you acts of animal cruelty Please dont ignore it., turn the person in. BE one more criminal put behind bars. If You have an animal you are no longer ABLE to care for, Do the right thing and sign it over for adotion to the KCSPCA or another Animal rescue dont just let it roam the streets. Dont tether Your animal outside on a leash or cable for long periods of time. Its a law!! Let them indoors. Remember You would not like to be stuck outside 24-7 on a leash only able to go so far in the hot or cold weather. !! BE responsible!!! Properly Vaccinate Your animals. Heart worms are a killer in canines. TEST TEST TEST, specially if they are outside dwellers. Flea and tick control for cats and dogs is a must here in Delaware. HAVE A SAFE AN HAPPY SUMMER!!

Bad news

This morning i woke up to cali and Snickers fighting, along with two of the other cats joining in. I found cali shortly afterwards with two huge gashes near her backside. Snickers attacked her and tore into her down to the muscle. I have cali in the cage now. and her wounds tended to. the outcome of snickers staying here is bleak. I have had her since she was a tiny kitten and for her to turn like this after getting fixed blows my mind. Its only cali she attacks also none of the other cats. I wish you could see exactly what is going on here cause you would truely understand what im talking about. My baby is being slowly killed by my older cat and i am helpless. I cant just surrender something that has been with me through thick and thin though it all in my life. Snickers has been that. I love her to no end. Im praying to God something changes for the good.

Spaying 3

Today was Calis turn to be spayed. What a day. I brought her home from the kcspca, and she was still out of it from the meds. I let her out of the carrier, well big mistake, Snickers attacked her right off the bat. and Poor cali was running for her life. I'm totally frustrated about this. Spayingsa re supposed tomake a cat more relaxed not stressed out.or stress out the others. Snickers is a large cat and for her to go after a not so all there Calimay it was nerve racking. It took me three hours to catch cali as she was ticked off as could be. and I had to keep the others away from me so i could get cali in the carrier again. Her incision is the smallest out of Babes and Snickers. But it has some blood on it and im concerened she has hurt herself when she did all the thrasing about and running and jumping. There is no stopping a balistic cat. its 12:02am and calis pupils are still dilated. it concerns me a lot as snickers and babes became normal looking after a few minutes being home. Well I am not gonna be able to keep her in the box all night... im assuming I will not be getting any sleep, listening ot fights and cleaning up spilt food and water.

THE Season of the Hair

OK folks it is the season when we cats shed like mad. The fur falls. Mommy has been trying her hardest to brush my sisters and I to rid the apartment of all the unwanted fur. But I won't make it easy for her. I like to roll and flip and bite at the brush. My adoptable Sister Babe, Fights mommy also she bites mommy and the brush and growls at her and likes to bunny kick at mommies hands. Mom Had to take on my sister Lady Last night, Her fur is so long it sheds constantly. Lady Does not like anyone holding her or touching her with anything for long periods of time so Yes she attached mommy and made her bleed. Mom however got a good amount of hair removed from Lady before the blood shed. Snickers and Tempest are good with the brush they just lay there and do not move hardly or react but then again they don't shed much cause they are short hair, and lazy sleepy heads. Mommy was able to catch our sisfur Sun. She had to hold her down and brush the crud out of her cause if not Sun would try to get away. Hers is so feral and mommy has had her for over 3 years now an she is still not used to Mom. She did try to bite mom but Mommy is to quick for her. I watched her brush Sun, Mommy was talking kitty talk to her but Sun looked scared like she always does when around Humans. Eyes all wide and dialated and hers was breathing like mad. Mommy thinks still Sun was abused but we don't truley know. *March 31, 2011, The hair still flies about the apartment. Mom is going crazy trying to clean it up. She has bathed our sister Babe too and She likes water But the rest of us do not.

What is with Catster

Well it has been a week really since the issue with the who is online section started. Mewmie is getting upset cause she likes to come onto the site to see who is on and send messages ,and gifts, and now no one shows up on the page so it makes for a boring evening.She even emailed Catster but has not heard anything back.

Its Time!!

Tonight 2-11-11 Is the last night the kittens will be with mewmie. The director lady from Purr-Fect Haven Cat Rescue called mewmie and told her to come to the local PetSmart store this Saturday with the kittens. Mewmie is sad to see them go so soon. But she tells us that it is the right thing to do. *Momma talking* I want to thank everyone who has been apart of the kittens lives since birth. Your comments and gifts of love and care have helped them grow into three of the most beautiful tuff kittens I have ever come to foster. I am sad to see them go but know its only right and that they will be adopted safely out to loving homes. Some say they have a favorite.. Mine would be Burlios.. He is such already a big man cat. He will be a big boy when He grows to adulthood. Smiles with tears.. Tomorrow will be hard for me but I will be ok.

Another One Purrrrrssss!!!

OH, Wow! Another Daily Diary Pick!! This is a happy day for my sisters and I and our Mewmie!! We want to Thank Everyone that has sent comments and gifts!!! We recieved extra treats this morning as MEwmie was extremly happy about this super Surprise.
