TAG!!!

Mugsy tagged me, and I have to say, this is a good one! My only complaint is that I have to limit myself to only five annoying things!

Name the 5 most annoying things your humans do, then tag 5 friends.

1. I don't like that mommy has lots of "outside" activities that do not include ME! There is not enough time for ME!

2. Not kicking the boy cats out of the bed. I HATE when the boy cats get in bed with us. They stink and they get in MY way because they think they can sleep in MY spots!

3. Mommy brings home more boy cats. First it was one. Then there was another one. Then sadly that one crossed the rainbow bridge and she brought home ANOTHER ONE, then another one, but that one ended up with lymphoma and sadly crossed the bridge too. So what does mommy do? Brings home ANOTHER boy cat!!! They are all rescues like me and I get it, but come on! 3 boy cats?????

4. Mommy will not let me on the computer by myself because she worries about internet predators. Hello! I'm a wise, married (to the fabulous Dashy) girl cat! And then, she sometimes misses my dates with my husband or parties because she's too busy or falls asleep or something. I don't think that's right! Oooh, what that two annoying things rolled into one?

5. Cuddles with the stupid, smelly boy cats.

On ruling the roost

As a Queen, it's important to know when you should support your minions as well as when they must be smacked down. Today I had to both. My benevolence astounded even moi.

My brother, Wiggy, has bronchitis and mommy needs to be sure he is getting enough food. Goofy guy is skinny to begin with. So, this morning, she mushed up some wet food just the way Wiggy likes it. He ate some of it, even shared his plate with Fafnir (aka Dum Dum Faffy Daffy Doodle Noodle or Vomit Pig). Then mommy gave Wigs his meds and then mushed up some more food. As Wiggy was chowing down, Fafnir came by looking for more grub. He is all about the food. So, I happened to be standing near Wiggy and realized that if he was going to get all his food, which would alleviate some of mommy's worries, I needed to act and fast. I smacked that little sucker Fafnir right on the head and yelled at him to back off, bucko! Wiggy continued dining and Fafnir waited a couple minutes before trying again. What doesn't he get? If it wasn't OK 2 minutes ago, it's still not OK. This is ME is dealing with, not someone soft and gushy like mommy. So, I had to bang him in the head, AGAIN, and yell at him some more.
Don't get me wrong, it's not like I really like any of my brothers, but Wiggy needed my protection and Fafnir needed a lesson on who's the boss. Queen Me. hah!

1. Do you ever wake your parent up in the night? Not so much. I like it when my mommy is sleeping and I am cuddling with her. I used to do this, but then I learned the longer she sleeps, the more likely she is to be home all day and I like that!


2. Do you ever tear up things? No, I really don't get into much trouble.


3. What is your favorite treat? CHICKEN!!!! I like it baked, fried, broiled, cacciatore, fricasee, chop sueyed, boiled, and I LOVE kitty treats made from dehyrated chicken! And then ther is turkey...


4. Can you fetch something when asked to do so? I can, but I don't. I did the first day I moved here, but then I haven't ever since.

5. Have you ever lived any place other than where you live now? Yep. I was adopted by a shelter and the black cat living there was a complete nightmare, so I came back to the shelter. Then I picked mom out from a bunch of visitors to the shelter and said "I think I'll move in with you." So I did.

Now I think I will tag my husband, Dashy and Pandi and Mugsy and Pepper!

teaching mommy new games

Hide and Seek is one of my best games, I like to hide and have someone seek me. It's not as much to do the seeking. I also love Chase-the-Kitty where I want to be the chasee and not the chaser.

Well, I came up with a new variation of Hide and Seek. Now I hide in the bathtub, behind the shower curtain and wail as though I am drowning in quick sand and need saving, fast! Of course, mommy comes to save me, but because I am hiding, she doesn't know where I am. Eventually she looks in the tub and jump out and RUN really fast. Heeheehee, I am not really drowning in quick sand! Then I do it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. If mommy doesn't find me fast enough, I have to jump out of the tub early and then the game isn't as fun for her because she doesn't actually find me! And if she finds me too quickly, the game is not fun for her because I refuse to acknowledge being found!!! MOL!!! The rule is she has to figure just how long the seek must last to make the game purrfect. It's almost as challenging as trying to find me in the first place, because the bathtub is a great place to hide. So is the sink! Mommy has a really hard time finding me when I'm in the sink because I crouch down really low and flatten my ears.

A Day in Cannes with my Sweetie!!!

Yesterday's tour of Parisian gardens was wonderful. Yes, it's cold here, but the roses are still in bloom. Well, let's say they WERE in bloom until Dashy and I gobbled most of them up! *giggles* I hope they don't think there was a rose blight or anything. Just two kitties in love eating roses.

So, I think we shall check out La Pointe-Croisette, which is the principal boulevard in the city. La Croisette is a marvellous promenade along the full length of Cannes. Under the promenade, many sandy beaches stretch out to sea.
La Croisette is mostly devoted to illustrious fashion shops where the big names in haute couture and jewellery (such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Christian Lacroix, Hermès, Chanel, Dior, etc.) I don't think we got enough shopping done in Paris!! MOL

I think we should try "traditional" foods of Provence and eat at Bec Fin or Auberge Provençale. We'll see. Sadly it's too chilly to enjoy the beaches, but it's purrfect for holding paws and cuddling as we stroll and shop and eat!!!

Partying and Playing in Paris

Oh my gosh, what a time!!! We girl cats did quite a bit of damage to the credit cards (thank you mommy *giggle*) when we did some shopping. Then today, while Wiggy and Pepper were celebrating their annifursary, the rest of us went out to Angelina's (again!) for hot chocolate and macarons! That after some croissants and coffee for breakfast and before a lovely lunch at a cafe on the Champs Elysee.
Lilly and I dragged the boys to such places as Cadolle, Sabbia Rosa and Vannina Vesperini’s for some sexy Parisian lingerie! I think I saw some cute pink noses get even pinker!!!!

Then let's see. We popped into the Louvre so I could get my picture with Mona. So far, only 2 have asked if we are related, but I just know more will!!

We are going to dinner at L'Auberge du Louvre. Mommy ate there her last night in Paris. I can't wait!!! And then off for some a night of drinking absinthe!

I think Dashy and I will maybe go to Cannes on Wednesday, right darling?

PARIS!!!!!

Oh my gosh, I'm going to Paris!!!!!! I could not be more excited. Just a few more hours of this flight and Ooooo la la! Dashy says he has been practicing his French, which is good. I imagine he's super adorable speaking in a different language Plus he is soo smart! And cute. And cuddly. *hugs self and purrs at dozing husband*

I am sure we'll be doing lots of eating and cuddling, isn't that what the city of great food and love is all about? I can't wait. And I want to go to Angelina's and have their hot chocolate. And I want to go to the Louvre and get my picture taken with Mona. I think we look a lot a like. We certainly have the same smile. I bet people all over the streets of Paris will ask if I am related to her!!!

Actually, Dashy's and my anniversary is coming up too. We'll probably sneak off for a day or two to Cannes for some alone time.
I told Dashy Lilly will probably come home singing like Edith Piaf after a week in Paris with Milagrito! That would be pawsome! Then I thought I want to sing like Edith Piaf too. Maybe all we girls will and all the boys will sing like that Maurice Chevalier guy. Thank heaven...for little girl cats! MOL

Yes, I am the queen!!!

I am still so excited and thrilled to be COTW!!! It is just fabulous to be recognized for the princes queen that I am! *giggles*

I want to thank Hanna, Victor Gibbs, Jason Cash, Hazel Lucy, Chai Latte Capone, Little Bit, Sugar Bear, and angels Buddie, McKenna and Ricki for the rosies and gems! And of course, Muppet and Aldo, without whom mommy still might not have known about my honor.

Many of my furriends are all about Calvin and we here send so many purrs to him, his family and furriends.

Speaking of purrs, we have a new member of the family to add to those purrs, and he has a very loud one. He's a blue point Himmie named Tenszing (can you believe that? Poor guy). I'm not at all excited to have yet another boy cat in my home, but at least he knows I'm COTW and a force to be reckoned with! He's pretty respectful, but I have to give him occasional hisses and growls just be sure. And then I growl at the rest of the boys just coz I can. *giggles again* Tenszing arrived Saturday night. Mostly he's separated from us, but mommy lets him out for awhile each day. Ugh! We all got catnip yesterday, so that was super cool! She says we'll all get more today. Yummmmmmy!

CAT OF THE WEEK????

OMC!!!! I just found out I am COTW!!!! Mommy saw I got rosettes from Aldo (chapter 2) and Muppet and they were concatulating me on this honor! Then mommy went back to the front Catster page and squealed! She showed me my picture and my rosies!!!! I'm so excited!!!! Does this mean I have the power to evict my new brother, Tenszing?
