I purchased Brina in a pet store. She was in a play cage with several other kittens but she was the only one sleeping , so I thought she has to be the one. She was intended to be a pet for my son but that didn't work out because as a kitten she looked at my sons legs like scratching posts. Whenever my son would run she would chase after him and try to hang on to his legs. OUCH! So I took Brina and loved her. My heart melts every time she looks at me and says MAMA. I have had pets before and loved them , but Brina is my baby.

We love you Brina and miss you so much my sweet girl. These past couple of days I have been thinking to myself over and over again, What If?
What if instead of you having that surgery I would have just brought you home to stay with us. You must have been so sad and afraid when you woke up from surgery and found yourself in that cage. I wanted to make you better but I know you were not happy being away from your family. Even though I visited you everyday I know you wanted to be home. I wanted you to be home. I wish you were him now. I love you Brina and one day we will be together again.

I know it has been a long time since I have been here on Catster. Since the last time I was here we lost Brina, January 10th to be exact. She was my first cat and she was a very unique cat, at least to us, in many ways. It has been a rough year without her sweet face looking up and smiling at you. She was very vocal and when she wanted my attention she would say "ma ma" and I would drop what I was doing and give her love the love she always deserved. She made everyone in our family very happy.
I found her stocking with her picture on it when I was putting Christmas Decorations up and I started crying. I was depressed all day. That is the effect losing her has had on me.
I posted a video here that I made for her after she passed. Take a look.
We have added 2 new Members to our family. Charlie and Sookie. I will be adding them to the Catster Family.
