My most exciting Bridge Day yet!`

Today had to be my most exciting Bridge Day ever!!! My handsome (now husband) Jethro asked if I'd like to elope to Vegas today!! So we DID!! And we had a triple wedding ceremony!!! I'm so happy to be a bride, and to have such a handsome, thoughtful husband now!!!

I found a new kitten for Mom & Dad!

I've been here at the Bridge for a few weeks now, and I thought it was time Mom & Dad needed a kitty in the house! So I saw this sweet little girl who had lost her mom...and sent her over to a friend's house. I knew the friend already had 4 dogs and 2 cats and some kids, so they couldn't keep her. BUT...I also knew that they knew Mom & Dad had had to help me to the Bridge, and were very lonely! Sure enough it worked!!! The friend found her, and took her to my dad...they named her Mary, because they live in Maryland. They had named me Rose because they lived in Glen Rose when they got me! Anyway...they're very happy with her, and she's very happy to have a new home! I think I did good!!!!

Love at the Bridge...

When I came to the Bridge a few weeks ago, I was so sad having to leave my mom and dad...and they were so sad letting me go. I was with them for almost 19 years! I was their baby. I didn't see how I could be happy at the Bridge, like so many cats were telling me.
My good friend from back home (now also at the Bridge) and his sweet wife, Lucky, hosted a Welcome to the Bridge party for me. I didn't even want to go at first...I was still feeling sad, even though I had found my best friend from back home, Clyde Dog, and was spending time with him again. But I went to the party. All my Bridge family were there...and all of Lucky's Bridge family...including one handsome Jethro (Lucky's dad). He and I just seemed to be attracted to each other right away. We've spent a lot of time together since then. And today at the double RBK wedding, he surprised me with a marriage proposal and a ring!!!!!!!!!!!! I was totally shocked, but so happy. Of course I said YES....I would never have dreamed life at the Bridge could be like this!!!
