Arrival Story:
The Humane Society brought a litter of 4 kittens to my work one night, they had been rescued from a trailer fire and were smelling of smoke and a little crispy around the edges. They were too tiny to send back to the pound (certain doom) so I brought them home to foster. Bear is, ironically, a flame point siamese... he endured the most injury in the fire, he's lost both ear tips and his right eye has some scarring, he also had a burn across his shoulders and singed off whiskers. He is completely healed up, now! He is the biggest of the 4 and loves playing with the dogs. He has no idea he's different, is loaded with personality, and was a purrfect patient (always holding still and letting mommy fix his owies) With 'cropped' ears and the most amazing blue eyes, he's one stunning kitty!>^..^< .

Ummm... we couldn't decide on Smokey the Bear, Polar Bear or Little Bear. So he got them all! Good thing he goes by Barry for short.
*Bear was hit by a car on Sunday June 11th 2006, he has inspired us to FINALLY build a cat aviary. We need to keep our boys safe and sound from now on... it's just too hard. Love you, Bear*
