Arrival Story:
Thai is our Grand Pretty Lady. She is the oldest of our cats. We suspect that she is about 17 years old. She is still very healthy and playful. Sure, her old joints seem to slow her down but the haven't stopped her by any means. Thai came to live with us when she was dumped off on a roommate of ours. She was very quiet and would hide when anyone was near. When the roommate moved out, she stayed. By then, she was starting to show signs of really opening up to us. When we first started living with her, she had a staple or something of that sort still in her from when she was spayed years earlier. It had gotten to the point it didn't move or react to anything. With much attention and loving, it did start to break free until we were able to remove it. She has rewarded us with many oportunities to scratch her belly since then. She does seem to be showing signs of senility and is terribly bothered by small spaces. Even with those oddities, she is a joy that we hope to enjoy for many more years.

Bio:
On Nov 21, 2006, Thai was euthenized due to heart failure. She went peacefully in the arms of James and was burried near the area where we smoke meats during the summer.
