Arrival Story:
Skylar was born on a hot Texas day in front of an apartment complex. His mother rejected him and his brother and left them in a sunny spot on the sidewalk. A kind person saw them and called me because I know how to bottlefeed and care for orphaned babies. Sadly, his brother did not make it past the first day I had them, even though I took him to the Emergency Room and tried all I could. Skylar thrived though and has been at my side ever since. I initially was only going to foster him for 8 weeks and then find a loving home. I was wrapped around his little paw though and could not let him go.

Bio:
Skylar is a charmer. People and other animals always fall in love with him because of his goofy charm. He walks around all day with a dorky expression. He loves to hear my voice since he's been hearing it since he was born. He often runs to me when I answer the phone and starts talking to me because he thinks I'm talking to him.
