Arrival Story: August 1st (2013) I got up off the couch and went to look outside and there she was, sitting in front of my shed. So I made a little noise she looked up at me and opened her mouth to meow and nothing came out. So I went out to her and called for her to come over. When she finally did I could see how thin she was. Skin and bones. So I took her in between the doors ( its kind of like a mud room, but not used as such) and told my boyfriend about her. He said " no, no theres no kittnen" I laughed. So he set up a bed for her and let me give her food and water. He could tell she was in rough shape. Aside from her size she had dry blood all around her nose. I assume from digging for food. And her belly was descended, I figured she had been starving.
So now that shes been here a month, it is very obvious tht she is expecting! As we can tell because of the time frame she is about 5-6 weeks along. The Kitts are moving around in there. So exciting. So now she is apart of our family, and we may keep some or all the kittens. I know we have four already, but I have 7 acres of land and they will all be receiving their shots and getting spayed and nurtured. I'm the type of person who may not be able to give them up. Oh and luckily Rory gets along with her new cat family. Not so used to the dogs yet. Rory has also been able to meow for a couple weeks, I keep praising her when she does. She sings beautifully.
