Arrival Story:
A nice family had recused a homeless (stray?) cat, then discovered she was pregnant. The kittens needed a home and I very much needed a kitten. My husband preferred a female, Joy Lea was the only female. She was only 9 week old, she was friendly and unusually alert. We were told she was both athletic and snuggly. We found her pretty, but in an exotic different way. She had huge ears, long legs, and a little triangle face. WE LIKED HER! No need to think it over, we had found our cat! We have fallen in love with her. Her fur is medium length, soft and gleams, she has beautiful green eyes and a VERY long slim body. We think she is one of the smartest, alert and fastest cats we have seen.

I have been searching the Internet trying to determine Joy's Leas possible heritage. I think she looks a lot like Egyptian Mau without spots, but she has the soft gleaming coat of Chausies, but not the correct color. I am hoping someone here can help as I know little of the more exotic breeds. I feel sure she is mixed.
