Arrival Story:
Freezing rain was coming down two Februarys ago and she was meowing outside my parents back door. Mom and Dad had 7 cats at the time, but I only had one and she was so sweet, so she came to live with me. Of course we put up signs and an add in the newspaper first, looking for her owner, in case she'd run away, but no one contacted me.
Bio:
She likes to be brushed! She has several cat friends, she goes to visit her "cousins" at my parents house abt once a month and my boyfriend's cats come visit her every once in a while. She's never met a stranger and will ask anyone who comes to the door if they would please feed her .
When she went to the vet for the first time, I asked the vet if she was a boy or a girl, and the vet turned her over and couldn't tell. The vet said we could shave the cat under the tail and find out. But I thought that was a little drastic. The vet said Redgate was either a neutered male, ore a female, when the cat had been in the new home for a while, and relaxed, if it was a girl, she;'d go into heat. But, orange girl cats are pretty rare, and I probably had a boy. So, I went along thinking Redgate was a boy. Until one day, she was laying upside down, four legs in four different directions, and I thought, "hmm, that's not how Winston (my other -- male --cat) looks when he lays like that. And, sure enough, Redgate's a girl. But, she's so fluffy, and shy at the vet's the vet has to take my word for it!!

My Grammy and Grampy visited for da new year!!! We was just like hooman grandchildrens. We played and played wiff dem, and we asked dem for snacks we aren't supposed to have (we got dem) and we did stuff we aren't supposed to do, like jump on da table or da counter.
We jumped on dere laps, we cuddled their chins, we showed how high we can jump and how fast we can run.

I hab a tuffy dose. By Bobby called da vet and da vet said I have allergies -- dust wike people when da pollen is bad. I feel especially bad in da morning but I am so cute wiff my bright red dose (how by dose gets red when I'm dot wipping it wiff a tissue I don't doe)
Da vet said I could cub in and get some antihistamin buy I do hate da vet so much
