He followed me home from 6th grade!

Sir Winston ran away twice when I was in 8th grade, but he was found!! When I moved out of my folks house, he came too! Now he has a younger sister named Redgate. The black and white cat in some of his photos is his friend Scooter who comes to stay with Winston and Redgate once in a while.

Rainbow Bridge

I crossed over to Rainbow Bridge tonight. I love my people and my furblings so much, I really held on a long time to be with them. But this weekend, I couldn't move my arms or my legs (I had central nervous system lymphoma). I really was not enjoying life any more at all. So, Mommy called a vet who came to our house (thank goodness, I didn't have to ride in a car!) and he helped me find my way to rainbow bridge.

I'm so happy here. Its sunny, and I can roll around in the dirt. My arms and legs work great, I can chase Fred (he was waiting for me) and eat tuna.

Mommy and Mither Mike got married about a month ago. I was unable to attend the actual ceremony, but the reception was at Grammy and Grampy';s house, and I went too! Here's a picture. Also, you will notice I now have 2 new brothers too. They're great. And, now there's 2 people to love on:)

Mister Mike brought over his cat Kipling two nights ago. Kipling was very scared and stayed under Mommy's bed for almost 24 hrs straight. Mommy was very impressed with how kind I was to him. He hissed and hissed at me, Redi, and Mom, but Mom and I did not hiss back. Mom of course never hisses, but she was impressed that I did not hiss at a strange cat.

Also, I did my greeting meow, that sounds like a chirp and started to walk toward him. But, as soon as he hissed at me I stopped and bowed my head so he wouldn't feel threatened.

Mommy thought she would keep Kipling in the bathroom for the first few days until we all got used to eachother. But, Kipling jumped out of Mike's arms and made a be-line for under Mommy's bed and would not leave. So, Mommy moved the catbox to her room (gross!) and put food and water in there too.

When it was time for bed Mommy to go to bed and I tried to jump on the bed but Kipling was still so scared he hissed and growled while I was on the bed. No one could sleep.

Mommy thought Redi and I would feel bad if she kicked us out of the bedroom, shut the door and spent the night with the new cat. So, she and REdi and I slept on the couch 2 nights ago and Kipling stayed in her bedroom by himself. Mommy felt so silly!

Last night she slept in her bed and Kippy felt a little more comfy and did not growl when I got on the bed. So, that's how we slept last night.

Redi did not come in to the bedroom yet. She is still REALLY REALLY mad! When Mister Mike came over she hissed at him!!!

Kipling will have a catster page soon. Mommy tried to take some pix of him this morning but he is still adjusting and in all his photos he looks scared.
