Arrival Story:
We got her from another family in our area, when she was a month a half old. Initially we wanted to take her brother, because he was all white (our previous cat was an angora) but she was such an inquisitive little sweetheart with the dearest face ever, we ended up choosing her. I was in the fifth grade and my sister was in the third grade, and we would go there almost every day to see her until she was old enough to adopt. We took her back in a shoe box padded with my old blankie (donated to a good cause) and the second we put her down she started exploring. She wasn't afraid at all, and slept with me in my bed on the first night.
