My journey with my first kitten, Milo.

Day 7

Today Milo had his first ever cat sitter! The sitter was none other than my niece, and it was for about 2 hours. She's only nine, but very, very mature. I think in order to believe me you'd have to see it. When I arrived home, he didn't seem to even notice I ever left, which for me, is a good thing! I'm glad he had so much fun, I'm guessing too much fun for the both of them because they were napping on the bed together when I entered the room. He seemed to purr with delight when I greeted him with petting him after he woke up, so even though he probably didn't notice I was gone, I know he was happy to see me when he woke up. Other than that, nothing unusual happened today. I'm really happy he's taking so well to other people, he seems to be quite comfortable with at least four members of my family already. I'm glad for that because that means more human playmates for him, and less guilty moments for me when I can't give him my attention at times!

That is great. I'm glad he likes humans so much. This is a great time in his life to expose him to new and exciting things and people. There is so much to see, explore and learn.

Happy Diary Pick Milo on September 16!

Some kitties like you are clever and know it's best to adapt to friends and family and to different places.

For me I'm a bit like the kind who are afraid sometimes of unusual noises but I don't get scared of people very often. I'm a funny one I guess!

Love Tyson

We have a dog like that back home in California, precious little Tyson. If we slam the door in the middle of the night, from the other room she'll hear and start barking. She's terrified of the dark too, most people don't believe it until they see it!

Hi Ivan,
Since this is my first kitten, I've tried my best to gather all the knowledge I can on raising him and from what I've read, you're right! They say this is a very crucial time for him to learn quite a few things. Like taking a bath, getting used to more people, car rides, etc. So far, he seems to be taking all three of the ones I mentioned quite well.
