Arrival Story:
A stray wondering around the neighborhood, he was wild. I later found out his previous owner had moved and left him on his own about 2 years prior. He would growl and hiss at everyone and everything, attacking most cats. When I started feeding him he would often show up beat up, scared with open wounds. He had a very distinct growl, when talking about him my neighbor would say “you mean the one that sounds like a martian” After 6 months of this I was able to trap him then take him to a TNR program. One month later Nov 2010 he became an indoor cat.
Bio:
When he first showed up he was half starved would eat 4 cans of food a day, 2-2 ½ cans at a time. He weighed almost 17 lbs when I took him to be neutered still very skinny. His nick name is Big Boy because he is so large, not an ounce of fat on him. He will come when I snap my fingers and say Big Boy just like a dog. He is very loving and needy now, craving constant attention. The other cats remembering him from the past will have nothing to do with him, so he has no one to play with, except me. He tries but they just walk away. He loves to nuzzle up to me, sleeps with me every night wanting to lay on my chest. He is friendly with people that come over, big change as he used to try to attack me when he first showed up. He is just a lonely kitty looking for lots of love and attention. When I come home from work he will follow me around wining ( uh, uh, uuuhh) until I stop and pay attention to him.
