Arrival

I'm getting along better with Rocket. We play chase, (hes really fast) and catch and hide and seek. I still try to keep him away from my family but it seems when I do that, I loose out on a lot of petting. We're sharing the food dish and the Water fountain but I draw the line at sharing the litter box. It seems he agrees too. Good thing.

April 8th, 2012

The other cat in the house is called Rocket and he's a big one. He growls and howls a lot. Very loudly. He backs up in a corner and just fusses. He doesn't bother me, I've heard it all. I sit and stared at him for like 5 minutes and the boy human said he looked a lot like a Persian and if he didn't behave it was gonna freeze that way. It's not so much he looks like a Persian but that his brows lower so much that his cheeks poot out and hides his nose. He does look funny. He can have the corner if he wants, I own the whole place except the china cabinet. They all got really upset when I went and checked it out. I didn't like it much anyway. Made more noise than the big kitty did.

The first night in my new home.

Wow. Talk about love. I'm getting a lot. Everyone is petting me and waiting on me paw on paw. I have my own litter box, small, like me. My own food and water dish though I do like the Water fountain. I have a lil' stuffed bird that tweets, a feathered mouse and a feathered ball with a bell in it.
I carry that bird every where. I really like it. I smack it around and shake it. I bark at it too and that makes the humans laugh.
I slept in the boy's bed most of the night and he really liked me a lot. He let me attack his feet all night but around 4am, he took me to the bigger humans bed and told me he needed sleep so I attacked their feet and they laughed a lot. I'm gonna get by with a lot around here. I'm already taking kitty notes in my head.
