indoors Arrival Story: It was June 2011 and Adopt a Shelter Cat month. I had been missing my darling Bodhi who had been gone for 3 months. I was looking on PetFinder...just looking...when I saw "Manuel's" kitten picture. It was love at first sight. I called and found out that he was promised to someone else. I was a bit disappointed but things happen the way they should. Later that day the Humane Society lady called me and said,"Do you still want that Maine Coon male kitten?" Of course I said, "Absolutely!" I went to pick him up. It was wonderful. He jumped up on me, purring, meowing and asking if I was his mama! I couldn't resist. He came home with me that day. Oh, it was my darling Bodhi's birthday....coincidence?....maybe but it was a sign for me that things were as they should be!
