Madeline loves following her mommy around everywhere and watching her every move!

As an ex-feral, she's not a fan of people other than her parents! However, if you are one of the two people she loves, you couldn't ask for a better cat!

Favorite Toy:
She loves "jingle balls"! That's what we call those little plastic balls with bells inside. She also loves the little stuffed fish attached to rods with pieces of elastic string.

Favorite Nap Spot:
Wherever Mommy is!

Favorite Food:
Madeline is extremely picky. I don't believe we've found her favorite yet!

I swear Madeline has opposable thumbs. She can pick any object up like a professional! She is also very good at opening doors.

Arrival Story:
My husband and I love cats, but hadn't really been thinking about getting one yet. His aunt feeds and takes care of ferals in her area, including trapping them and having them spayed/neutered. One particular litter in her back yard was located under a burn pile which collapsed, killing the mother and the entire litter - except for one. My husband's aunt took the kitten in and started trying to nurse it back to health. He had gone to visit and saw the kitten shortly after she was rescued and talked about it frequently, as he loves cats. One night about a week later, my husband and I were driving home from the grocery store late in the evening and had stopped at a red light. He asked out-of-the-blue if I wanted to go see this kitten and I said sure. We took the next turn to go to his aunt's house where we sat down on the couch with the tiny, 2-week-old kitten. It was love at first sight and I knew she had to be mine. We agreed to take the kitten and nurse her into a healthy adult even though her chances weren't great. It took weeks of special diet, medicine, and constant care to get her to a point where we were sure she'd survive, but the process brought us so close. She is inseparable from us and we wouldn't have it any other way.
