Winter is coming

They are calling for snow in these parts tonight and tomorrow. It'll be the first of the season, if it happens, but I won't care. I'll be snug inside watching through the window.

My human is at work - she's been doing that a lot lately - so I have taken the chance to steal the computer away from her and write a little hello! You'll see that my "mom" has updated my brother's page recently and we are very proud that his diary is this week's diary of the week! YAY!

I can't say I miss Puff much - she hit me in the face whenever I tried to play with her. I know Mom and Tigger miss her, though. I have tried to take up the slack and started sleeping on Mom's head at night just like Puff used to do. I even picked up one of the late Muffin's tricks and wake her up by gently tapping her cheeks or lips with my fluffy paw. She usually makes a funny sound when she wakes up that way - I believe you humans call it laughter. I just know it's a good thing. With mom working so much these days I get lots of practice waking her up in the morning - that noise box beside the bed comes on 2 or 3 times before she finally gets up to feed us.

I like our new home. I do miss "dad" though sometimes, but I missed by brother most when we were apart. Sometimes Dad comes over and I get to see him, but I am always shy at first. Then I remember all the good naps we took together!

Toodles, I think I hear Mom at the door - and that means SUPPER!!!

AS soon as I hear the sound of the key chain, I start looking for the elusive red dot. It runs all over the floor, hiding and coming back, sometimes even running up the walls. I think I've got it and then... it's gone! But it is soooooooooooooo much fun!!!!! :-) PPPUUURRRRRRRR
