Arrival Story:
I was visiting a furniture store while on holiday in a town called Trentham. I noticed 4 kittens on a bench and immedietely went to play with them. I had so much fun with them that the staff said I could take one home. My partner at the time and I both agreed that a very cute black cat with white socks was perfect!

Trent passed away on the 17th of Feb. Devstation overcomes his whole family. There are no words to say how much dear Trent will be missed.

Special Trent:
Trent is a very special cat. I always wanted a cat and read alot abot them, and when I saw him I knew he was right for me.

He is always there for me, he likes to go outside a little too often (I miss him!) but I think he deserves to go and explore the world. It is so special that he can appreciate such small things, sometimes he just sits in the window sill in my room with me and watches the window for a long time.

I have heard that cats who go outside have shorted life spans, but I think that Trent would be a grumpy cat if he couldn't go and experience everything that he adores so much! He makes me remember not to take the beautiful things in nature for granted.

The most special thing for me is when he sleeps in my bed with me. If I feel him wriggling around I always tell him I love him, no matter how sleepy I am! He doesnt purr often but if I am lucky, he will come lay down under my bedcovers and cuddle with me, it makes me so happy.

I love that he appreciates nature but still comes home and follows me from room to room, and sleeps near me all the time.

Sweet Trent, I saw you last night for the first time since you left.
I dreamed I was in bed with Kishka, we were sleeping together just as you and I used to.
Then, to our joy, you opened the door and I saw you. I was overwhelmed with happiness to see you, my darling. You jumped up on the bed and you layed in my arms. I held you and I appreciated every second I had with you. We both knew you had passed away but in that moment, we were together. We were both so at peace to be able to say goodbye.
My sweetheart, I love you so much. Thank you for coming to see me last night, I am so positive our journey together still will grow.

Sometimes love may be disguised,
in flippant tail movements and flickering eyes

In life, we fall, often in the wrong places,
Heartache and longing, fighting to reconnect with distant traces.
Lovers lost and gone,
feelings staining months extended.
Can we know where to find great love?
Not in the arms of the one who makes you cry.

Past times lead us to believe we are now without,
he holds the hand of one, another left riddled with confusion and doubt.
Memories do not fade but become skewed,
Overbearing tales of days past delude.

During the journey, another tale divulged,
one that begins in a town far away,
a place previously unvisited,
with a mysterious way.
A tiny, sweet-whiskered friend, sitting silently with siblings,
Signified an abundance of life lessons beginning.

To him, the world is glorious,
the trees flailing in the wind bring constant amazement.
The night sky alight with blurs and whirs,
the early morning sunrise and the call of the morning birds.
He stretches, long, from his tails to his paws,
Taking in the world with one glorified pause.

To him, joy is not a concept, but an essential component of life
He effortlessly finds happiness in the smallest of things,
oftentimes dreaming of butterfly wings, fluttering about the sky of a day
His stare, engaging, his eyes so kind
He comforts me with, a love undying and blind.

My cat may not be a man who can protect me from evils and hold me tight,
but my boy can love me with something as small,
as hearing me come home and bounding down a hall,
a soft purr and a sweet meow
Cuddled up besides me, following me with his sparkling eyes.

My cat is here with me right now,
Sleepily watching me write these words,
he reaches out his paw and places it on my hand,
To me, he says "I love you too"

I love my mummy...

I love my mummy soo much, that I left a special gift for her to find on the kitchen floor before I came up to bed last night... a little mouse! She woke up in the morning and was very pleased with me.

Last night, as usual I climbed into bed with mum in the middle of the night. She woke up a little bit as I opened the door and reached out to pet me. I was soaking wet!! But she was too tired to get up and find a towel to wrap me up in so we both fell asleep.
