My transformation of Gris in my likeness is complete. He has now gotten a button on his belly just like mine..... A more sophisticated, more modern button but still it's an off and on button. Remember mom mentioning a few months back about Gris's appearance changing. He's gotten longer hair and he is 2 PDs heavier than me. Don't be mistaken it's all length. Mom measured his tail with a little help and it's 19" long, now like that isn't impressive enough his shoulder to hip is the same and add another 2 " for his head and thats 40" in total........3'4"" from tip to tail.
And don't forget he's turning 2 in July.
He's grown a button! Just like mine!!!! Check out the pics.
Holy meowy! He's HUGE!
OMC, he sounds like Maurice! We need to measure him - he's huge!!
Oh wow he is a very big kitty dude you better keep him in check when my little Brofur Tiny got to be bigger than me well he like tried to make himself top cat and of course we all know I am still king of the house.
Gris is a very adorable kitty.

Mom here- There is an old wives tale out in the country where I grew up, that has made me wonder several times in my life. Growing up I heard the old barn cats in that area had mated with the Bobcats. I remember as a child all the cats were huge and I myself had a cat out of a litter that topped 20 pds! He was a Tuxxie too. I remember my cousin down the road took in a feral she had found in the woods and was huge and had the biggest feet, small white spots on the back of his ears and gorgeous ear tufts! That area is just known for producing huge kits.
Now, just like everywhere else, suburbia has taken over the country. Way to many housing developments of huge homes. There's still farming lands that haven't been sold but the wooded area are less and less. As a result, the Bobcats are heard less and less in the woods. Last sighting out at the parents was 5 years ago. Quit sad if you ask me. We are routinely hearing about small black bears being sited in the city and unfortunately the state decided to release coyotes years back didn't help. They will attack our Bobcats, along with killing everything else.
Anyway back to the story....Gris is showing small signs of his possible Bobcat ancestory. His feet are almost the size of a silver dollar (same as Diamonds front paws, remember she has greyhound feet. Small for speed) and yes he has small ear tufts. Gris's dad is huge along with his sibs. Gris's mom was a small frame baby, definitely small for the area. Probably an import. (RIP Amber)
Maurice has Gris beat - we just measured him and he's 41 inches tip to tail.
