Still having fun

Hi everyone,

I haven't written in my diary since last year when we had the blizzard. This winter was much milder and it's even warm enough today to have the window open. I can't wait until it's warm all of the time.

I've lived with my mom almost two years now and I'm really happy. It took me a little while to trust her but now I love her very much. I like to play a lot so she bought me a bunch of toys. I like the laser pointer the best. It's so fun to chase the light. I have a basket of mice and balls too that she throws for me.

I think about the two months I spent at the shelter and I'm so happy I have a new life now. I'm a lucky kitty and Mom says she's lucky to have me too.

I survived a blizzard!

There was a blizzard this week outside of my window! Now half of my window is covered with snow. Mom put my cat tree in front of it so I can see out of the top. Luckily I was warm and cozy in my home during the blizzard. Honestly, I napped through most of it. But still...I survived!

My new home

Hi everyone!

I'm Lexie and I'm two years old and I have a new home. I really like it here. I don't know why, but my other family gave me to a shelter and I had to live in a cage for two months. I thought I would go crazy! I have a lot of energy and I like to play A LOT. So I was so happy when Mom came to see me and decided to take me home. She said she fell in love with my picture on the shelter's web site and I can see why- I'm super cute!

Mom bought me a bunch of toys but my favorite thing is a dangling string. It's just so much fun. And I have a box that I love to hide in. So I guess you could say that I like the simpler things in life. Though I have a high-tech fountain water bowl that I love. It's like drinking from the faucet. It's really cool.

I like my new life!
