It's our turn now, we just lost a wonderful friend. The hearse was just across the street at a friend's house that our family has known and loved since before my mommy was even born. That lady was so very sick for a long time, she didn't deserve it. She had a rare lung disease that her sister died of too. She suffered a lot! So now she's at peace and the rest of the humans here are missing her. Mommy says her and her husband used to come over to grammy and grampy's once every month for many years to play cards. Mommy used to go downstairs and laugh and say "you kids quiet down! you're too loud!" MOL. They used to have so much fun. Now the husband has dementia and their oldest daughter is special needs so we don't know if they'll be staying here or what. But mommy is very, very sad. Lucille used to walk everywhere before she got sick. Mommy says it's just not fair that all the good people get sick with such awful things and then lose their lives. Anyway, we just needed to talk about it. Mom is upset. Thanks for listening everyone, if you could purr for this lady's family that would be great. I gotta go lick some tears off mommy's cheek now.
Luv you all
Big purrs for everyone.
Thank you Monster. Thank you so much.
We are so sorry to hear this. We purr for their family and your Mommy too. Maybe they have someone come in to help them and be able to stay in their own home. Mom lost a close friend back in April and she still thinks about him everyday and gets mad because she misses him and wishes he was still around to talk to. Sure is hard when the good ones go.
Thank you skylar. She really did not deserve to suffer so much and so long. At least she's not suffering anymore. Mommy and grammy and grampy haven't actually spoken with her in quite awhile. The medication she was on did a number on her body and her quality of life was terrible.
*hangs head* Oh, Finney, I'm so sorry for your family's loss of a beloved neighbor. Seems like we had a flurry of cat Bridge crossings recently, and now it's the humans' turn. Dare I hope that your sweet neighbor will be greeted by a kitty or doggie who has gone before?
Hi Jasper, I don't know if they ever had a pet actually, mommy doesn't think so. But this lady's sister passed away many years ago of this same awful disease, apparently it's hereditary. So she was most likely greeted by her sister and parents. We do have those crummy neighbors right next to us but for the most part we love our other neighbors. Mommy has known these people her whole life. Hard to say goodbye. I agree, I think it's the human's turn unfortunately.
This is a difficult time of year to say good-bye to anyone. The poor lady is no longer suffering. Her sister will be greeting her when she arrives where we go.....Give your mom some purrrrrrs from us.......It was one year ago last week-end that we said good-bye to Natasha....Memories are hard but they help us to remember the good events....I love the card story....
Oh Sharon, the first year without your kitty is the hardest I think. Many hugs to you and your family. Memories are a good thing for sure. This lady used to walk EVERYWHERE!!! Every Sunday, she, her husband and their daughter used to walk to church together. It must have been so awful for her to stop doing what she loved.
We are so sorry about your families friend, it is always hard, but during the holidays it is harder. We are purring and praying for the family.
Remembering the good times is good! hugs to you
Thank you sweet Xena!
Sending purrs to your Mom and her friend's family. It's always hard to lose someone you love, be it people or pets.

We purray every day for you guys, but we'll send big giant kitten purrs from Snow and my rattly purrs for the family too. Wow, they have real problems facing them! That's a lot to handle. We hope they can find a good answer for their needs.
We care, and it seems like everywhere your mommy looks there are needs. Lisa, don't let it get to you. Your work with IBD kitties is wonderful! You are bringing hope and info to many people & lots of kitties are getting the right medication and living longer. To us, that's a big deal! Luv, Tink, the White Tornado, and mommy
Sending purrs and hugs of comfort.
Purring for her family.
Thank you so much everyone, we always know where to turn whether we are happy or sad. here, to our furriends. Tink, *sniff* you're so sweet and so encouraging. Mommy feels helpless about a lot of things right now. Grammy fell in the middle of the night the other night and couldn't get up. Grampy found her only when he went to the bathroom and he threw his back out picking her up. Mommy felt so bad she didn't hear it. They have an intercom downstairs to call mommy but grampy forgot to use it. Mommy knows she won't have them forever and that sends mommy into a panic and makes her cry.
We are so sorry..Many purrs to you Lisa...prrrrrrrrrrrr.
Thank you Biggles and mommy. My mom takes losing people VERY hard.
MROW! So sad and at the holidays too. We are purring for you!
