Hey everyone! Here's this weeks' new blog entry:
When A Pet Parent Crashes
Hope you're all having a great weekend! It was 73 and gorgeous here today. It's still furry warm out even now. Whoo hoo! Me and Lacey have been birdie watching all day.
Wonderful to be able to enjoy such purrrty weather. Our day started off windy and fun as all the leaves were falling and we didn't even care if we ate breakfast because there was so much to see. Later the wind died down we ate and the Humans started cleaning house. Male Human stripped everything out of the one bathroom and scrubbed everything in site. Girl Human cleaned out storage boxes and threw away a bunch of useless junk. Put some books and things in the car for Goodwill. So our day as kitties was right nice we slept most of our day away. Now I'm busy making bread on Girl Human's stomach while she tries to finish this. Tee Hee!!!
Sounds like a wonderful day Annie!! The leaves are blowing off the trees here as well but there are still plenty of them left on too. It was a gorgeous day here for mid October. Make good bread! I'll be doing that soon as well.
It was 71 and nice at my house today. The forecast is rain Monday - Thursday, with a 15% chance of snow on Monday. Not a huge chance, but a chance none-the-less! It looks like it's going to go from Summer to Winter without Fall.
Hi Annie! (((Purrs)))
Snow? you're getting snow? OMC!!!
MOL! It's only a 15% chance, and Dad doesn't believe it's going to get that cold. Here's the forecast:
Not that warm here about 56 or so, and maybe frost tonight...Brrr!
At least we did see some sun here today, amidst the rain squalls!
It won't last guys, that's for sure. Although it's supposed to be sunny and in the 60s this week! That's not bad!
We're going to have a few more days in the 70s at the end of the week, and then some more days in the 50s and 60s. I hope we get some Fall weather. :)
Our Fall has been really nice so far although it was kind of rainy at the beginning.
You wrote a good note about how to deal with stress of taking care of our loved ones. It was this time last year that I could see difficulties with Natasha. She just wasn't herself. She would get lost in the bedroom and purr for help. Meds and all of the care would not take her cancer away. I didn't realize until she was gone how much stress and time went into caring. I would do it again but I appreciate these times when everyone, knock on wood, is healthy......Give me some boring times...
As for the week-end, it was a warm one. Our tenants moved out so we
worked all week-end to clean and throw out. It feels so good to see clean rooms. Now, the real work begins...We need a little more time with the Fall. Hope that you are enjoying it and Midnight gives you some free days to relax...
Wow it's a lot cooler today! What a tease yesterday was. This is good weather for you to do that cleaning though.
