Mom took Linus and I to a CFA cat show this weekend. It was a two day show with 6 rings/judges each day. Mom wanted to see if I could get any points toward CFA Grand Premier like Linus. I managed to make finals in 3/12 rings, so I will have some Grand points coming. Mom's not sure how many yet, and will have to check that on-line in a few days. The show did not get get a lot of cats, and due to the low count, I will probably not get a lot of points... maybe 10 (if that). CFA requires 75 points for the title of Grand Premier which is equal to Grand Champion, but for spays and neuters.

The photographer Preston Smith was also there at the show, so Mom decided to get pictures of both Linus and I. Neither one of us was was very cooperative. I wouldn't show any interest in any of their toys, and just kind of crouched there looking a little scared and tense. Mom hoped I'd relax after a little while and cooperate, but I didn't (neither did Linus). Linus and I proved very challenging for the photographer, but he was good, and did manage to get a few decent shots he'll work with. Mom should have the pictures in about a month and will post them to our Catster pages.

**update** I officially got 11 Grand points at the show. 75 points are required for the title of CFA Grand Premier, so 64 more points to go...

I hope you get a bunch of points, Rider! Are these your first points toward GP?

Yes, this is the first CFA show I've tried for Grand points toward GP. It was only my second CFA show. I've been showing mostly in ACFA. I went to a CFA show last year, and got my Premier title.
