Arrival Story:
Griffin was born on September 30th 2004 He had 5 other siblings (3 brothers 2 sisters) His mother was out on the streets pregnant when she was attacked by a pit bull dog. A shelter volunteer came to her rescue and she was put into foster care where she had her babies. My boyfriend had moved out of his house in late October and we decided to adopt 2 kittens. We went onto Petfinder and saw the picture of Griffin and his siblings (they were about 4 weeks old in the picture) and we knew those were our kittens. On Novemeber 13th we traveled to the foster home. When we walked into the house there was a carrier with four little heads peeking out at us. When the lady opened the door all of them just stood there blinking at us. They all looked the same so it was quite hard to pick one out. Griffy was the one with the wide white stripe on his neck and the little gray spots on the back of his legs =)
Bio:
Griffy is the adventerous of the two. He loves darting into closets and out doors even though he knows he shouldn't He gets into more mischeif then he can handle at times!! He is always bounding all over the apartment and nothing escapes his eye, the closet door is open boom he is inside, you drop a piece of a paper in a whisk its his new toy and you cant get it away from him. Both he and Hunter love people and like to spend time with them but of the two I think Griffin is a bit more attached No matter where you are in the apartment Griffin is sure to be right behind =)

So yesterday when I woke up I saw daddy looking out the big window in the living room. Me being me of course bounded over because if daddy's looking at it its got to be cool!!! Well what did you know but the sky was falling again and again and again. Daddy didnt seem to mind though so I figured it couldnt be that bad (though Daddy is weird since he doesnt seem to mind that horrible noisy moving thing thats pushed all around the apartment after Hunter and I lovingly decorate it with our tissues and papers and box scraps) After a little while the sky was all piled up on the porch. There was so much white sky just sitting there but more kept coming so I guess it was ok (maybe the sky is shedding) Well anyway I know a new toy when I see it so I had to get out there to play. I purred and purred and finally dad put that leash thing on and let me out. Wow the sky is cold!!! I jumped around but eventually it was just too cold and I wanted in so I tapped the door and dad let me in but let me tell you that was just too cool...literally and figuratively =P
