Arrival Story: In September 1980, my mom found him at a train station on her way home from work. A woman was selling kittens and Charlie was the last one. The woman let my mom have Charlie free of charge because she just wanted to get rid of the last kitten so she could go home. My mom put Charlie in her coat and snuck him on the train (he was only a few weeks old). Charlie immediately bonded with her, and she was always his favorite person.

Bio: Charlie had a high-pitched meow that sounded like "pee-eeeww" when he little...that's where the nickname Pee-aww came from. When he was older, he had a very deep short meow that sounded like "Brat! Brat brat brat!" :-p He used to like to sit on one of the kitchen chairs and watch us eat dinner...kinda like Peewee does now (same chair too), but Charlie didn't mooch. Charlie's best friends were our cats Nino and Sammy. He didn't mind Juni, but didn't care much for Peewee (ignored him). In 1999, Charlie had a stroke. He couldn't walk in a straight line anymore, would just walk in circles. We had to put him to sleep.:-( He lived a long happy life though...almost 20 yrs! He'll always be remembered!
