Did You Know...?

Hazel Lucy purrformed the ceremony with my Pops Gimme and Phoebe got meowrried?

She also purrformed the ceremony for Allie and Fido.

And she has helped so many cats and people who need it.

She is my godmother, just like she is to many kitties.

Time to Write

I haven't written in my diary in a long time, but I've been busy.

Mama and Daddy moved a magic window into the bedroom. There's another world in there where there's another Mama and another Allie. I just noticed it this morning, so I had to stand up on my back legs on the bed to look at it!

My new skill is to stand on my back legs prairie-dog style to look at things. I learned it from Murray.

Yesterday when I got up from my nap there was a blue shiny thing on my cat tree!!! I looked at it from every angle for about an hour. None of us knew what it was so we all checked it out.

Finally Allie pulled it onto the floor and it was a dress! A shiny blue dress! So then she and I cuddled it all night because it was so pretty. Mama says it's being given to Goodwill, but we kinda like it so she might let us snuggle it for awhile.

There was a soft pink sweater up there with it but that didn't scare me. I WAS offended that my cat tree was being used as a clothes tree. So I grabbed that sweater in my mouth and jumped down to drag it off of there. MAMA! Don't put stuff on my tree!

Fork Skills

Phoebe told me I have to learn how to fight with salad forks in case any vishus tomato storms come to our house. She said that she is happy to have help fighting them.

I'm not sure what a vishus tomato storm is, but I got myself a plastic fork last night and I'm doing my training exercises with it.

I jump and attack it from the cat tree and kick it with my back feet and leap over it grabbing it in my paws. I will be the Xena Warrior Princess of salad forks!!

Harry just watches me with a confused look on his face, but he always has a confused look on his face, so I'm not sure that means much. Miles said I should use Harry as a pony and ride into battle on him! MOL!

Anyway, I'll be ready if the vishus tomato storms come. Phoebe just has to point me in the right direction!

Summer

I'm having a great summer! I've shredded the middle part of the turbo track toy and I've shredded a mousie and a round fur ball toy. My claws are working fine, thanks!

Every morning I climb on Daddy in bed and allow him and Mama to pet me. I don't like to be picked up, so I'm ready to run at the first sign of anything suspicious.

At night Murray's teaching me to wrestle. I get my claws in his neck fur and the next morning he has clumps of undercoat sticking out! MOL! Mama said I have a talent for grooming.

Allie taught me how to open drawers the other night too. We were opening and closing drawers in the spare bathroom all night and Mama couldn't figure out what we were doing to cause so much noise! She was sure the house would be torn apart the next morning.

We aren't on Catster a lot because Mama's been so busy. She's spending one day a week taking care of Grandma and Grandpa and work has been keeping her busy too. But we'll be back....

Death to the Blue Mousie!!!

I destroyed a blue mousie last night. Little bits of blue fur were all over the carpet when Mama and Daddy got up! And the tail was missing. I think Harry ate it.

Mama said she knew it was me because I'm the only one with sharp enough claws to do that. Also I was kinda proud of it. I'm proud of everything I do!

I was mad yesterday morning though. Daddy picked me up and handed me to Mama! I do not like that. So then they tried to give me tuna so I would know it's ok to be held.

I turned my head from side to side, but my mouth kept watering - traitor. Finally I had to give in and eat a little because my tummy wanted it too. That doesn't mean I agree with being held though! And when she let go of me I scratched Mama a little to make sure she knows!

And Pops Gimme has moved to a place called Jar-ja! Do you think he's living in a big jar? I think that would be fun as long as there isn't a lid on it. I'll have to ask Phoebe more about it, but I've been pretty busy.

Allie Says I'm Talented

I redecorated the living room last night. In my first picture you can see the drape off to the left of me. In my 2nd picture you can see where I put its twin.

Danged things kept catching my claws when I would hunt bugs. So I took down one of them and moved the other one to the middle of the window. I broke the curtain rod into 3 pieces and the hooks that were holding it to the wall on either side of the window are just gone.

Did you know swinging on a drapery is super fun???

In the "after" picture Miles is sitting in the window to display my artwork. It's a little crooked because I couldn't reach the top.

Mama heard a commotion last night and thought Allie and I were knocking things off the counter, so she didn't discover this until morning. After the commotion she watched me fighting with a towel in the bathroom and thought I seemed awfully pleased with myself!

Mama doesn't overreact to commotions anymore. Breakable things and dangerous things are never where any of us can get to them so she figured she'd clean up the mess in the morning. Little did she know I redecorated for her!!

As I said in the title, Allie is very proud of me. She said she never tackled drapes before. *puffs up her chest proudly*

Happy 4th of July!

I enjoyed my first 4th of July. Last night and tonight I sat in the window and watched the pretty lights outside. I didn't mind until some of the booms got too close to our house. Then I hid.

Harry stayed with me both nights too. Last night Allie watched with us, but tonight she hid under the bed.

Last time I said that Daddy would put a video of me out here. Well he doesn't have the driver for his camera so it's stuck in his video camera until he finds the right one! I really didn't know you could drive a camera, but that's what he said.

My new main picture was taken this morning. I'm sitting by an old phone Daddy restored and a fake-old lamp. There are supposed to be some orange flowers where I'm sitting, but they were on the floor. I think I look better there anyway!

I'm still a skittish kitten. I will let Mama and Daddy pet me if they are laying in bed. Otherwise, forget it! Last time I got too close to them we ended up moving to another state! Not gonna happen again. Phoebe says that Pops Gimme is moving this week. I hope his goes better than mine did.

RED BUG!

Daddy videotaped me fighting the red bug this afternoon. *pant, pant* Wait until you see. I gave it what-for, but it got away.

Miles even helped me try to catch it. *wipes forehead with paw* Murray and Harry tried to block it from running away, but it still got away from us.

*pant, pant, pant*

Daddy's moving the video to his computer so I can show all of you.

Somecat Here Smells Bad!

Somecat has an upset tummy but we're not sure who. Anyway they're making a stink. I'm pretty sure it's not me because I'm too little to make such a big smell.

Last night it woke Mama up and she hunted for poopies in the bedroom and bathroom, but couldn't find any. So she sprayed air freshener. I thought it was morning so I climbed in her bed while it was still warm.

But no, she came back to bed and I had to move. She said she'd share but I'm not that brave yet.

Anyway Daddy and Mama are running around with the air freshener today too.

Snowing

I make it snow in the house every night! I wrestle with Harry and big clumps of white fur come out of him so the floor looks like we had snow when Mama and Daddy get up in the morning.

To make the illusion more real, one of us (not saying who) turned the thermostat down to 60 last night too. It felt like Christmas!

Harry likes me grooming him with my claws because it gets extra fur out of his coat. So I'm happy to oblige. He makes a good scratching post because his fur is so thick.

Also, the cat tree is right by the thermostat so it's really convenient for us to adjust the temperature. *giggle* Daddy got his big blanket out because he was cold, but he didn't know why. We all love the big blanket, so we piled on. We need to remember that trick for whenever we want the blanket.

In other news I lay on top of Daddy now, but I still don't trust Mama. It's funny because before we moved, it was just the opposite. I blame Mama for putting me in that case and making me ride in the car (even though I don't remember it). So now I don't let her get too close to me. She says I'll get over it. We'll see...

And Pops Gimme had his toofies cleaned. That doesn't sound like much fun, but Phoebe said he feels a lot better now so I guess it's ok. I know I felt a lot better after they took the stitches out of me even though I didn't like it when they did it.
