Arrival Story:
Diego was a stray some one dropped off at our house, he is such a pretty kitty! and very loving!..he thinks 3 am is a fine time to headbutt you for some lovin! Tuesday Diego either got into a trap,or hit by a car,or maybe attacked by something, I guess we will never really know....but he had a massive cut in his leg, you could see bone and tendons The Vet game him a shot of antibiotics and pain pills...he was doing fine Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday afternoon it all went downhill fast... I knew by 4:00 he would not last much longer, he would throw himself in the litter box and howl..but he was able to go to the bathroom...and he was breathing funny, then a few hours later his breathing got very gurgley, and fluid was coming up out of his mouth...i left for a few seconds and then went back to see how he was and he was going....it was not peaceful at all i just sat there and rubbed his head till it was all over :*( I guess we will never know what happened to him, but at least his is no longer suffering :* Diego.... the kids sure will miss you, and even though you made me sneeze..so will I...We will miss how you used to drink from the sink, and sleep in it,..lol.. and lay with the kids when they were sick, and go to the window and "talk" when you wanted inside...and how you persistent you were when you wanted attention...especially at 3 am! ♥ Glad its over and he is not is such awful pain anymore
